The best part is definitely the location overlooking the sea and Nero's imperial villa. The food is always excellent and plentiful, the owners are always kind and hospitable, and the waiters are always attentive, knowing what you need before you know it.

The Turcotto restaurant, in particular, is the epitome of fine dining...
Fantastic location above the archaeological site of Nero's villa and adjacent to the port of Anzio.
A restaurant that can be described in just a few words, but overall it's unique: spectacular dishes, top-quality fish, and astronomical desserts...
If you want to eat there, you need to book well in advance—not hours, not days, but at least a week in advance. If you go there in person, walking in and finding a free table is probably almost like winning the SuperEnalotto...

Historic restaurant overlooking the Bay of Anzio.
The place is elegant enough, but not overly so, and the service is very attentive and friendly.
The chef is skilled; the dishes are simple but well-made, with quality ingredients and presented in a clean manner... the desserts are very good.
The prices are average considering it's not a gourmet restaurant, but the view and service justify the slight extra cost.
It's a shame about the bathrooms outside the restaurant, which compromise the comfort (especially on a rainy day). Regardless of the ongoing renovations, given their condition, I think they've been going on for quite a while.
