A gulf where the water remains warm, ideal for children with sand for them to play and shallow, clear water. Parking is easy to find with the possibility of various machines to pay 2 euros per hour.

During a Training Camp in Tuscany, on the Etruscan Coast, I discovered the splendid Gulf of Baratti 😍
With its characteristic horseshoe shape and dark, shiny sand, the Gulf of Baratti is a popular destination for many tourists every year and one of the favorite destinations of the locals who frequent the pine forest from the first long and warm days of spring .
The peculiarity of Baratti lies precisely in the splendid and characteristic nature in which it is immersed: the large lawn, where I have seen picnics and walks organized in the open air and enjoying a crystal-clear blue sea and also the natural shade of its beautiful and famous pine trees. seafarers who arrive almost on the beach.

Baratti beach is always wonderful and also offers trekking opportunities both towards San Vincenzo and Piombino. Very expensive paid parking

This is one of the most loved beaches in Tuscany but it's not all gold. Throughout the Gulf of Baratti, crystal clear waters, sandy seabed and a unique atmosphere. The beach is almost exclusively free, and also offers ample space to bring dogs. The equipped beaches and seaside bars are an option for those looking for some extra comfort.
Parking is expensive if you can come by bike or motorbike: €20 for a day is a rather high price in my opinion.
Showers and public toilets are present and comfortable, but here too the prices of services are above average.
There are also spaces for culture, the archaeological park of Baratti and Populonia is an added value, offering an immersion in history and nature.
Advice:
- Arrive early: Especially on weekends, finding parking can be difficult.
- Bring everything you need: Including water and snacks, to avoid spending too much in bars.
- Explore the archaeological park: A unique experience that will enrich your day.
Ideal for families, couples and nature lovers.

Uno spuntino veloce in riva al mare con un panorama indimenticabile. I miei preferiti sono i carciofi fritti. Peccato che l'ultima volta non ho trovato le alici fritte. Anche queste buonissime.
