Do you want to experience an extraordinary and historic lunch or dinner? With a time machine do you want to experience the emotions of being served like a prince or princess with a butler and a cook from the last century? In Mulino al Pizzon I had an unforgettable experience. I was greeted upon arrival by the owner who had me park in the spaces reserved for customers who have booked. In the restaurant room I found the welcome of the waiters. With promptness and kindness they illustrated the specialties of the cuisine with organic products of the area. I tasted the typical wine of the surrounding countryside, the wholemeal bread made with ancient grains, among these the rare wheat S.Pastore 14. An appetizer of corn polenta 🌽 two-tone with a cheese fondue. Lasagna with vegetables and organic meat, delicacies just to try. As a second course I tasted a braised Sorana with red wine Teroldogo Rotaliano. The side dishes were the maximum of variety and pleasantness of the lunch. The homemade desserts enhanced the sweetness of the table and the mastery of the cook. The visit to the machinery of the ancient water mill 💧 and its history involved us in an experience where mind, heart and body found the joy of hospitality and culture of times gone by, which has become very rare today. Try it and believe it!

Non abbiamo semplicemente cenato in questo posto ma abbiamo fatto esperienza delle ricette della tradizione, abbiamo visto un luogo che conserva saperi e sapori antichi, con delle persone che conoscono l'arte dell'accogliere con calore e familiarità, come se fossimo ospiti e non semplici clienti. Purtroppo non abbiamo potuto visitare bene il mulino (era tardi e c'era brutto tempo) ma oltre alle vecchie foto e agli oggetti in mostra il gestore ce ne ha raccontato un po' la storia. Il menù non è presentato nel modo tradizionale, la cuoca ha detto quali erano le sue proposte per la cena, basate su prodotti della zona e su piatti di carne, noi abbiamo scelto di assaggiare di tutto, poi alla fine sono arrivati due tipi di dolci e un'ottima tisana. Il prezzo è nella norma. E' stata una serata piacevolissima sotto tutti i punti di vista.

Dopo una visita interessante alla Badoera e a casa Matteotti un pranzo a base di grani antichi e sapori ritrovati che si devono alla ricerca dei proprietari. Accoglienza calorosa, ambiente semplice e prezzi ragionevoli
