Al Nuraghe In Sassari

On a cold, humid February day, I visited the restaurant with a group of friends to enjoy a traditional Carnival favata. The fava beans were cooked to perfection, accompanied by generous pieces of pork: sausages, rind, and ribs, all flavorful and well-prepared. The vegetables were also excellent, carefully cooked and served in generous portions. Everything was washed down with a very acceptable house Cannonau. Furthermore, the evening was enlivened by live music: a group of professional musicians revived great national and international hits from the '80s and '90s, delighting us with their mastery and convincing us to stay longer... resulting in a few more digestives. The only downside was the dessert: the "fatti fritti" (fried biscuits), unfortunately tiny, hard, and decidedly subdued compared to the quality of everything else. The staff was professional, smiling, and very helpful; The only small drawback is the venue's capacity, which can be a bit limited on busy evenings. The restrooms are clean and tidy.
