After visiting the "MUSABA" park which I recommend you come and see, we made a round of calls to the various places in Mammola and Siderno all fully booked (I recommend that if you organize a visit to MUSABA and want to eat in the area, book in advance 😉). Now resigned to going back and eating a sandwich on the street, we saw a billboard advertising this place. With my partner we decided to make the last attempt and we showed up at the restaurant, and we were lucky 😀 We were welcomed by a kind girl who was able to advise us on the typical dish of the area "stocco". We ordered two appetizers with various samples of stockfish cooked in various ways, a plate of spaghetti with tomato and stockfish, and a plate of ravioli filled with stockfish sautéed in a pan with diced vegetables. Given that we had never eaten stockfish so we didn't even know what it might taste like, not having a reference point of comparison we were satisfied with the plentiful and good cuisine!!! Just a piece of advice for those who have never eaten stockfish like us, avoid taking all the courses based on stockfish because it has a very demanding flavour, if you take the starter avoid taking the first or second course based on stockfish 😉 . The value for money is good so if you happen to be in these parts I recommend you stop at GIUMANI 👍🏻
