Great rabbit dish! Hard to find in NYC

This is one of my favorite places on earth to eat. Even after coming back from Italy and eating with my family there this place can hold a candle to anything I've ever had there. May it stay open for many many years to come!

We first went to al di la way back in '98 as soon as they opened. My wife - who is from northern Italy, like one of the owners - wasn't truly satisfied with any Italian food options in NYC. This place was different. The food was delicious, simple and homey. The vibe was unpretentious and welcoming. We've eaten our way up and down the menu many times since then. Just last week, after a gap of maybe ten years (we moved out of Park Slope), we visited again and were very happy to find that the menu and more importantly, the level of cooking hadn't changed one bit. And, that's not easy for any restaurant anywhere to say.

100/100. Authentic. Delish. Fulfilling. Every single bite. Flavorful. A neighborhood gem for sure.

Favorite Italian in Park Slope. I'd eat the Casunziei (Red beet and ricotta ravioli, butter and poppy seeds) every day if I could! Yum.

Visited for a birthday dinner and the food, atmosphere and service were all great 🎉. Tasted a few wines to find one that was perfect - great waitress insisted we try a few. Appetizers of burrata and the roasted calamari (both fantastic), sampled multiple pastas and then a trio of desserts - the pear cake with chocolate was such a wonderful surprise and nice way to wrap up the evening. Will be back!

Great food, ambiance and selection. I will be returning again for dinner. My only gripe was it was a little tight for seating but other than that 5/5!
