It's not as good as it used to be. I won't go there again. They even charged us a glass of wine we didn't order. It's a good thing we noticed, otherwise we would have overpaid for a mediocre meal.

Appetizers: Parmigiana with pâté and mushrooms. Delicious. €12 Spaghetti carbonara. Perfect. €12 Traditional Spaghetti Genovese. Excellent. €16 Coverage €4. House sparkling water (no charge). It's a local eatery where tourists are welcome. Highly recommended.

This is a restaurant I stopped by on my way back from a southern tour. I visited on the guide's recommendation, but it didn't quite suit my taste. Judging by the name, "Al Dante," I'd assume they serve al dente-style food, but this place had a particularly dry texture. The sauce was also just okay. Everyone's taste buds are different, so others might find it acceptable. I'm not sure if I'll ever return to Salerno, but if I do, I'll definitely try a different restaurant.
