Very tasty food at reasonable prices. Unfortunately, the open kitchen makes the dining room very noisy. We had to shout at times to be heard. But with such good food, you can overlook that :)

Recommended by a friend, we went to eat at this small but well-kept restaurant today. Fast service and excellent spaghetti. The only downside is the noise, but you can overlook it when you're treated to an excellent dish. Well done, guys.

Despite the waiting system was a bit messed up, Spaghetti was al dente which I love but unfortunately tooooo salty, bruschetta was good.

Tuvimos la suerte de conseguir una mesa de inmediato en Al Dente la noche que llegamos a Salerno y era tan delicioso que hicimos reservas para nuestra última noche. El Cacio e Pepe fue el mejor que he probado, y el Sorrento - Style risotto hecho con espagueti fue tan bueno que mi hija lo pidió en ambas ocasiones. Los vinos tintos, blancos y rosados de la casa eran todos buenos también. También disfrutamos viendo a los chefs. Recomendamos encarecidamente una comida en Al Dente cuando esté en Salerno, pero haga una reserva!

Il nostro viaggio a Salerno è iniziato con una cena in questo piccolo locale vicino alla stazione e al nostro b&b. Esperienza totalmente positiva: il ragazzo che ci ha seguito ha saputo interpretare i nostri gusti e ci ha proposto bruschette e spaghetti uno più buono dell'altro. Consiglio gli spaghetti risottati alla sorrentina, davvero ottimi. I tempi di attesa sono stati adeguati , il locale è sempre molto affollato quindi è preferibile prenotare. Ci torneremo sicuramente!

16/10/2025: We were staying in Amalfi, which is very touristy, and our accommodation recommended this restaurant. The walk was worth it, as the food was delicious and the service attentive. The menu offers something for everyone, whether pizza, pasta, or fish. I have to say that my pizza even made it into the top 5 in Italy in terms of taste. And then there are the delicious homemade desserts, which are highly recommended. They even have an excellent house wine, which is quite rare on this coast. The restaurant's prices are not too high, even compared to Amalfi or Positano. We rounded off the evening with a glass of limoncello on the house. And because we enjoyed it so much the first time, we returned a second time, again with positive impressions. Come and see for yourself what a great restaurant has to offer!
15/10/2025: Food and service was good. My kids ordered pizza and the waiter recommended buffalo mozzarella on top. It turn out to be too much extra cheese for the pizza, and it was really expensive (9 extra euros per mozzarella lump).

Hotel Scapolatiello

01/10/2025: I had the pleasure of celebrating my graduation party at Hotel Scapolatiello. Everything was simply fantastic! The planning process for my event was meticulous, with attention to detail and professionalism, from the room setup to the exquisite dinner. All my guests were extremely satisfied with the evening. It left me with a wonderful memory, one of many on such an important day for me. I hope to return soon!
