We were looking for a good quality place to eat and we stumbled upon them. The food was 10/10. Recommendation: Pasta with mushrooms / Tiramisu (completely homemade). You can tell that everything they make is high quality and made with love.

I'd been eyeing this restaurant for a while, which I think is located in one of Rome's most beautiful areas. Having lived there for years, my friends and I decided we were craving Tuscan cuisine. The place looks good, the waiters are skilled, and the food is excellent. It's certainly lacking in regional dishes, but we found the meat and appetizers excellent. It's a place with just the right amount of intimacy and an extensive wine list, albeit a bit overpriced. A pleasant escape from Roman cuisine.

I ordered ragu pasta, steak, and Tuscan-style appetizers. Everything was delicious, and I was absolutely delighted! The steak was the best I had during my 14-day trip to Europe. Highly recommended!

The food is divine, but the disappointment is spending €28 for two Proseccos and it's truly a rip-off. I'm a Prosecco fan and I always drink Prosecco at dinner out, but you can't sell two Proseccos for €28 and it's sad, then you shouldn't complain if you only drink water in restaurants!!!!! 04/03/2026: I've been to I Butteri a couple of times and have always had a great experience. One night I had the steak and it was truly excellent, tender and flavorful. Another time I had the pasta and it was equally good, simple but well-made. Overall, a place I recommend; the food is good and it never disappoints.
