We were a group of 10 adults and 7 children; unfortunately, the food didn't arrive at the same time, and the mussels were inedible. The service was friendly and attentive. A decent experience overall.

We ate at Al Centrale in Bardolino and were fortunate enough to be served by Ana. She is incredibly warm, attentive, and always with a smile. You immediately feel welcome and in good hands. She was always on top of things, quick, professional, and at the same time very charming. Her open and friendly manner made our evening truly special.

To start with, the waitresses seem aloof, but they are friendly, proud Italians...
The pizza, the dough, was excellent, very tasty. Right in the heart of Bardolino, we had lunch there. The ambiance outside, like everywhere else, is clean. The inside looks very nice.
The food and drinks arrived quickly.

Aside from the mediocre service (lacking hospitality, barely a smile, and a feeling of being unwelcome), the price for the food is very fair. The drinks and food arrived relatively quickly. The quality of the food is good and plentiful. Little touches like an extra plate for the mussels, extra cutlery for the salad, and the obligatory bag of bread and limoncello (unfortunately, only 2 for 4 people) at the end were fine.

We went here for dinner and tried the pasta – absolutely excellent! The pasta was perfectly cooked and the sauce was very well-seasoned. A particularly positive aspect: the portions are absolutely sufficient for one person. In Italy, pasta is often intended as a small first course, and you need something to quickly add to it – but here it was different; you're filling.

N.B.: For me, 4 stars is an excellent review; 5 means exceeding expectations and outperforming the competition by a considerable margin. That said, the breakfast is excellent, the service is good, and the prices are reasonable for breakfast. A recommended morning stop.
