Sono stata a cena in famiglia, terza volta che torno, un must a Pordenone, locale piccolino, meglio prenotare prima. Ottima ricerca della materia prima, prodotti tipici friulani (pitina al mirtillo). Abbiamo preso un tagliere misto di affettati e formaggi tipici, molto buoni, a seguire una Costata in 4, portata al tavolo con la piastra per chi volesse finire la cottura. Prezzi nella media pordenonese, 40/45€ cadauno.

Oggi, in visita turistica a Pordenone, sono capitato a pranzo qui perché ho trovato posto facilmente. Il locale è carino e uno dei suoi punti forti è la toilette, pulitissima e arredata con estremo buon gusto. La gestione di questo locale è tutta al femminile. Quattro ragazze servono in tavola e altrettante cuoche preparano i piatti in cucina. La signora che gestisce il locale tratta i clienti col tu, cosa insolita per una signora della sua età con i clienti della mia età, decisamente piuttosto avanzata; ma non lo fa per mancanza di rispetto e quindi glielo perdoniamo. Viene al tavolo e decanta la qualità dei suoi prodotti. Ho ordinato un frico e sono stato invitato a ordinare un piatto di prosciutto nell'attesa. Il prosciutto era ottimo e molto buono anche il frico. Gradevole il calice di vino della casa e nella media il conto.

Excellent food but honestly the cost of the dishes clashes with the staff who, for the prices offered, I expected to be more professional and less "confidential", an attitude that perhaps could go well with regular customers.
The place is furnished in a somewhat confusing way and without air conditioning, the outdoor patio is practically on the street, it seems to have been placed there... so much so... too many people walking near the tables.
I would work more on ways, on welcoming customers.

Nice place, friendly staff. Unfortunately it took long to order and get our meal. No standard meal which is fine but the kids had a hard time choosing their meal. So I would say not for kids. Eventually it’s all about the food, it looked nice but the taste was a bit disappointing. Lack of flavor. We paid over 150 euros so it’s not cheap.

Characteristic family-run restaurant, whose interiors are reminiscent of an old-time tavern. Many photos/memories of the world champion boxer Primo Carnera from Sequals.
I opted for the meat menu: the rare Argentina steak was certainly of excellent quality.
Appetizer with anchovies certainly not memorable, better to opt for cheeses or cured meats.

Pleasant place and good service. Unfortunately I didn't find the dish good or well prepared. The impression was of a lot of care (appreciated) in the composition of the dish and a little less in the preparation. However, perhaps at another time and with another dish I could easily change my mind. Prices rather high especially for the certainly not abundant portions

As soon as you walk through the entrance to Osteria Il Cavaliere Perso, you immediately notice that every detail, from the placemats to the different jars and containers, is special and unique. Hosts handle customers with a familiar, quick but respectful touch, an innate quality that cannot be taught.
Regular customers already know what to expect: a menu that goes beyond the dishes of the day and off-the-list proposals. This tavern is not the place for hungry teenagers or athletes; for them, fast food chains are a better choice.
But if you're peckish and looking for an authentic culinary experience, two words and food based on Friulian tradition, expertly presented and well cared for, will satisfy you better than a triple portion of spaghetti.
The memory of the appearance and taste of dishes lasts over time and nourishes the soul as much, if not more, than the quantity itself. The octopus, the first courses and the ribs are all worth trying. For ladies, the frico here is also a delight: measurement is the key to fully appreciating its flavour.
If you are looking for a place where food and hospitality come together in a memorable experience, Osteria Il Cavaliere Perso is the perfect place, even if a little more traditional.
