I left the restaurant about 30 minutes later, and we were still talking about the food, the service, and the friendliness. What can I say? For someone who travels 250 km to make a brother-in-law from San Martino happy, finding a restaurant like this makes you want to say: I'm booking for Sunday. I am from Puglia and after almost a year I returned with my wife for lunch at Al Castello and I brought a couple of friends from Basilicata (also foodies) knowing that I was on the safe side. In fact today, I had the clear feeling that Michele's cuisine has improved even further.

Food Like My Italian Great Aunt Used to Make
If you eat anywhere in the Campomarino and Termoli area, you HAVE to eat here. The food is AMAZING – made by the nonna in the kitchen, it made me think so much of my Italian great aunt’s cooking. The staff is friendly, attentive, and patient - if you’re working on your Italian. Eating here is like having a Sunday meal in someone’s home. Wonderful!
Make sure that you call ahead for a reservation – ideally at least 1 day in advance. There are maybe 10 tables in the entire place.

Mi sono recato in questo locale dopo che ho provato a prenotare per diverso tempo ma trovavo sempre tutto pieno. Ero curioso di provare dopo aver letto la maggior parte delle recensioni positive.
Cibo buono, personale gentile, porzioni nella norma ma a mio parere abbiamo pagato troppo quindi mi dispiace ma non penso di tornarci. In bocca al lupo per tutto e buon proseguimento.

La comida era increíblemente buena y los precios eran extremadamente bajos. Este es un lugar donde los lugareños van a diario. La hospitalidad fue increíble con la asociación de marido y mujer que envía perfectamente la comida de la manera más coordinada. La comida es fresca y muy sabrosa. Aquí solo encontrarás gente local comiendo para que disfrutes de una auténtica experiencia.
