We stopped by chance while staying overnight in Vejano, and this trattoria amazed us. We booked by phone and found our table ready at the scheduled time. The service was prompt and excellent. We had excellent bruschetta with puntarelle, not to mention the first course, where I even mopped up the bread. I couldn't even photograph the tripe 😂. A quiet place to eat excellently at a more than fair price. The portions are just right.
If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely be back.

A delicious traditional trattoria with excellent value. The bruschetta with coratella is a must-try. You can order half portions, full portions, and grandma's mega portions. Excellent service!

As the waitress didn't know a word in English, and Google translate didn't do a good job, we ordered some by pictures. The bruscata was nice, very thin layer of meat on it, pasta with artichoke bacon and mushrooms was good, Trippa was uneatable for us, the texture was bad...maybe locals are used to it, it looked good in the picture....we returned it complete and ordered very good white pizza with potatoes and sausage (very small amount).
We were very disappointed they charged us for the Trippa...

Upon entering, you wouldn't expect such a pleasant surprise: the place is a bit spartan, but the quality, friendliness, and kindness are extraordinary. We went there for a family lunch, three of us, and we were all delighted with the quality and authenticity. I'd gladly return.

A lovely trattoria like those of the past, with friendly staff and excellent, truly homemade food. The bread is also excellent.
I also tried the pizza (the classic Margherita is the proof of the pudding), but I can't give it more than a passing grade... the dough is very good, even if a bit thin for my taste, and for €7.50 per Margherita, I could see the mozzarella through binoculars... come on, guys, add a handful more mozzarella!
I don't think it's elegant or tasteful to make customers wait for takeout pizzas in the basement... but I understand that space is limited.
