For the first time, I had the opportunity to try pizza with river chili peppers. With a few toasted vegetable tips and cherry tomatoes, it was truly delicious. Friendly staff and very fast service.

An extraordinary pizza, captivating at first glance: perfectly leavened dough, with a high, soft, and well-cooked crust, punctuated by the typical wood-fired oven burn marks. The white crust holds a generous amount of stringy mozzarella, fresh cherry tomatoes, and basil. Each bite is a balance of sweetness, creaminess, and fragrance. Making the experience even more enjoyable was the impeccable service: the waiters, all young and charming, greeted us with a sincere smile and great availability. The service was surprisingly fast, without ever feeling rushed. A perfect evening, where the quality of the cuisine is combined with attentiveness to the guest. We will definitely be back.

Pizzeria Al Campanile is located in via Guglielmo Marconi, 17, 81055 Santa Maria Capua Vetere CE near the Duomo. We dined outside in Piazzale Vincenzo Simonelli equipped with tables, chairs and umbrellas for the outside. The pizza was quite good, made with good ingredients. The fried foods were good, such as crocche’ (homemade) montanare and chips. The service leaves a bit to be desired, only one waiter (a hard worker) very kind, helpful and friendly cannot satisfy all the outdoor tables. The wait for the order was a bit long. The quality/price ratio was a bit expensive.

The pizza is great and now that there is outside seating at the Duomo even funnier.

Informal place, family atmosphere, good pizza and attentive staff (only 1 person)... We'll be back 👏
