Al Buscion In Stresa

Excellent and very nice place, magnificent attention at all times. The food we ordered was very good and very delicious. I recommend it 100%.

We ordered mushroom soup, it was full of potatoes and some mushrooms. In response, they tried to explain that it was all mushroom soup and that it wasn't potatoes but leeks. Disappointing. Bruschetta with tomatoes and buffalo cheese was ok.

Alright. For antipasto, we opted for a board of mortadella and ham. Top and yet I'm a fan of bellota. Then ravioli with wild boar meat all in an excellent butter sauce. So we tried the homemade desserts, an apricot tart and a tiramisu. Perfect lunch for a very reasonable price. So I recommend it to you.

Al meerdere malen hier geweest en het is altijd weer een feest. De eigenaar Massimo en zijn zus Barbara hebben ontzettend veel verstand van mooie wijnen. Ze hebben hier de beste wijnkaart die ik sinds tijden heb gezien. Daarnaast serveren zij bijpassende (kleine gerechten ) die prima van kwaliteit zijn. Kortom een absolute aanrader.

This is one of the best places to eat in Stresa in our opinion. It is just a short walk down the street from the lakeside. The food is delicious and very competitively priced, beautifully presented and great with a well chilled beer. The cold meat and cheese boards are amazing as are the paninis. Barbara, who has the establishment is very knowledgeable about wines and foods and you can book for wine tasting experiences there. We have stayed in Stresa for the last three years and always go to all buscion several times to eat lunch during our stay. The service is always prompt and pleasant and we most definitely recommend a visit. Also, they have just started a holiday apartment letting facility. Stresa is one of the most relaxing places you could visit if you just want to watch the world go by and absorb the atmosphere. We are back in Stresa next summer and will most certainly spend some lunch times at the Al Buscion.
