Traditional dishes a little rushed..fast but not very attentive service..price/quality ratio unbalanced towards the price.

It's a good place and it's also the last place where Pier Paolo Pasolini ate.

Authentic restaurant, highly recommended

Roman cuisine is excellent. I've eaten here several times, both for lunch and dinner. I've had carbonara and pizza on other occasions. The daily specials are also good. The Tevere blond pizza is very tasty and delicious. All accompanied by delicious fried foods and at a very affordable price. I'd like to point out that this was the last restaurant where director Pier Paolo Pasolini ate before his death, so it's also a historic destination for Italian cinema.

Quaint and authentic, "Al biondo Tevere" exudes a Neorealist air. The restaurant is spacious and features various spaces, including dining rooms and an area overlooking the Tiber. Of course, the added bonus is that it's the place where Pier Paolo Pasolini ate his last supper before being murdered in Ostia... This thrills me every time I go! When it gets crowded, like on weekends, the wait can be a bit long. Both traditional Roman dishes and pizza are served: the portions aren't particularly generous, as is sometimes the case in trattorias, and sometimes they're a bit cold. When the restaurant gets crowded, it's hard to talk because people's voices echo; the bathroom, accessed from outside, is a bit uncomfortable. If you adapt, the restaurant is convenient, also thanks to its location on Ostiense. And above all, it's commendable to maintain a slice of Roman history.

Came here for dinner, I would recommend calling for reservation as the restaurant fills up quickly and I don't think we would have been seated without a res. Great place to watch soccer as they have a couple of large screens throughout the restaurant to watch. Ordered classic roman food including pastas, suppli, and artichokes - all delicious.

Excellent welcome, simple and generous cuisine...

A local spot! We were the only Germans there. We had lunch there, delicious, thin magherita for only €8. Will order pasta next time, because the neighbors' looked insanely cheesy! The chef recommended the lasagna in Italian, which was also very good! Great prices and authentic Italian cuisine! Go there and enjoy! 😽 P.S. Unfortunately, I didn't take a picture of the food, but get the pasta. Pizza is also very tasty, but I'll get it with toppings next time! 💸 Prices are normal/good!

I'd never been here. But despite all the negative reviews that had me a bit wary, I had a wonderful meal last night! Quality food (the steak melted in your mouth, the prosciutto was delicious, hand-cut, the tiramisu tasted fresh that day, the pizza dough was good and light) and the staff were quick and friendly on a Saturday, which is no small feat... I'd gladly return!
