If you are in Padua, a stop at this restaurant will allow you to taste local specialties with plating and quality appropriate to the place
The place is not very big so I suggest you book and check that there are the tables you want, sufficient wine cellar
Parking the car is a feat, ergo I suggest taxi or your legs

After visiting the nearby botanical garden, hunger pushed us to the closest place and here we were welcomed almost at closing time with kindness and friendliness. Place with seats outside and few inside, I think it is better to book on holidays or in the evening. Menu with tasty dishes, we opted for a mixed fry and tortelli. To finish a typical dessert from Padua. Everything was really excellent, compliments, I find the attention in serving me the glass of prosecco very positive, which being at the end of the bottle the waitress promptly replaced I learned a new bottle in my presence. Well done, that's how it's done... Prices are not discussed when there is quality and commitment.

We were in this lovely tavern, by chance, on May 1st. We managed to find a table for three people, outdoors, going early, at opening time. The girls who seated us and served us were very kind and quick. Food was great! I recommend booking because being small and very popular, it is not easy to find a table. Prices are medium/high but in line with the proposal. We will definitely be back!

We were greeted by the very kind and attentive staff, so much so that they noticed, between one course and another, that we had run out of bread at the table and refilled it. We ordered two different appetizers (creamed cod and roasted octopus), as a first course spaghettoni with fresh sea urchins and for dessert the trifle. In addition to wine. Everything excellent. Very good food. A high quality restaurant.

I would even go back immediately!
I didn't give full marks only because it seemed to me that the restaurant manager was a bit annoyed because I had lunch alone and with a dog in tow...
Having said that, the place (I had lunch inside) is well-kept and elegant, so much so that I would have expected higher prices.
The food is great! I ate rosole flan (very good) and bigoli with Paduan ragù (very good!)
Highly recommended, also because it is located very close to the valley meadow and the Basilica of Sant'Antonio, but it absolutely does not seem like a tourist place.

Io e mia moglie siamo stati in questa osteria a cena. Il locale è molto vicino alla Basilica del Santo. I piatti sono molto buoni, con ingredienti di qualità. Da migliorare un po' la quantità delle portate. Ho ordinato la piovra grigliata, nel piatto mi sono stati serviti 3 tentacoli molto piccoli (costo 16 euro). Sicuramente le porzioni potrebbero essere più abbondanti. Locale molto pulito e personale molto gentile. Prezzi nella media per la qualità offerta. Consiglio a tutti questo locale!
