For lunch, I had a Roman-style focaccia with stracchino cheese and prosciutto, which was really good. The service could be improved, probably due to the limited staff; customer service was a bit lacking.

Granted, it's not the season for gelato, but the textures of the dark chocolate and pistachio were a bit too different. The pistachio was so creamy it almost seemed like it hadn't been chilled properly. The chocolate was the exact opposite: very, a bit too, curdled. The hazelnut didn't arrive.

We stopped by for a quick meal before heading home to Piedmont, so I don't have a thorough knowledge of this place's products, but I can say that the woman was incredibly kind in canceling our order for a dish because we couldn't stand it anymore. She could have said it was already cooking (even if that wasn't true) and we would have been forced to take it and, of course, pay for it. Instead, she honestly told us they hadn't even started cooking it yet and that she could cancel it. That's no small feat! And finally, a mention of the pesto in the pasta we ordered: delicious!! Much better than many trattorias/osterias!

A quick lunch break with a sea view. The Nicoise salad was really good, filling, and excellent value! 👌It was a truly positive experience, I highly recommend stopping here. Many thanks to the owners and staff 🙏

15/02/2026: We stopped for an ice cream cone. There was a wide selection of flavors, including some unique ones. I must say it was very good, solid enough, and the prices, given the location and the area, are reasonable. The person who served us was kind and friendly.
15/01/2026: An atypical place for Liguria, as the bartender always welcomes you with a smile. The "mezza carolina" is excellent, a local drink ideal for an aperitif. I also recommend the gelato, especially in the winter. The diverse yet discreet clientele makes the place magical. Gelato and aperitif at Serafino, a ten.
