Nice little cafe Great view at an ultra-fair price

A favorite hangout spot for Genoese residents and tourists alike. The sea view less than thirty meters away, its location right off Corso Italia, the city's most famous seaside promenade, and its proximity to Bagni Lido, the most popular tourist spot, make this venue, with its outdoor seating, a must-visit, especially for young people's evening entertainment. The ice creams are excellent, the cocktails exceptional. Furthermore, for high school students and those just starting out, the adjacent gardens, filled with pittosporum, make summer evenings romantic and cool. It's definitely worth a try, and its decades-old charm is well worth it, even though recently some groups of overly lively young people have attracted the attention of the police, ruining the evenings of those who, for the most part, were there to enjoy themselves.

This morning I went for a run along Corso Italia and had breakfast at Al Baretto. I had a great time, enjoying excellent coffee and a delicious whole-wheat croissant. There were two very polite and smiling girls behind the counter (a little cheer never hurts). I'll definitely be back.

I find €5 for a liqueur and €5 for a soft drink, served at your table, a bit out of place. I also understand that they're not interested in building customer loyalty, given their reputation and the number of people who frequent them anyway.

I went here for an aperitivo with a friend and had a great time. The drinks were good, the same quality as those served in the evening. I also liked the food, very tasty and just the right amount—not too much, not too little. I'd probably add a portion of chips (a classic aperitivo treat) to round it out. Overall, a really pleasant aperitivo. The price is around 10-12 euros.

Ottima posizione, struttura nella media. Location intaccata dal parcheggio di fronte che ostacola la vista mare. Servizio nella media, gentilezza del personale talvolta deficitaria, ma oggi tutto sommato ci hanno trattato bene. La vera nota dolente del locale è l’alto prezzo complessivo (uno spritz accompagnato da una ciotola di taralli 8€). Nessuna possibilità di avere qualche patatina o nocciolina di accompagnamento al drink. Drink nella media. Nel complesso esperienza consigliata se si vuole bere qualcosa sul lungo mare di genova quando non si hanno grosse pretese di qualità e sopratutto quando non si ha tanta fame.

Gelados muito bons. Pessoal simpático falavam inglês e espanhol, além claro do Italiano. Esplanada pouco confortável no inverno, muito frio. Preço aceitável. Estacionamento fácil nas redondezas.
