Ai Bozzi In Roma

A restaurant that remains somewhat niche, yet a bit disappointing compared to its past. Traditional dishes have been revisited, like Jewish-style artichokes on a pecorino cream sauce, which ultimately overwhelm and overwhelm the artichoke flavor. Or saltimbocca alla romana, whose substance has been altered. There's no mention of traditional first courses on the menu. I wanted a carbonara...but nothing. I had to settle for something else. Then the waiter told me that if I wanted the classic carbonara, it was available off-menu and I should have asked for it...but what did I know??? This off-menu, on-demand menu seems like nonsense to me. Anyway, to cut a long story short, we ate what we didn't want to eat, paying a fortune. You should plan accordingly.

We came here for a couples dinner and chose the tasting menu: we couldn't have made a better choice! The dishes were at the chef's discretion, and we opted for the seafood menu, trusting her with our eyes closed. We found everything truly delicious, from appetizers to desserts. The quality of the seafood was truly excellent; we loved everything! The prices are also noteworthy: the tasting menu is truly affordable (€60 per person for five courses, including entrée, cover charge, water, and coffee). We can't wait to return to try the meat dishes...we highly recommend it! See you soon, and congratulations again to Chef Chiara!

we went for a Valentine's Day meal. The restaurant itself was lovely. it has a large outdoor area and the inside is deceptively big. I like how they have put an acoustic ceiling in to help the sound, the restaurant despite being busy was never too loud. They had a 5 course set menu meal for Valentine's Day. The food was quite good, the only course I felt a little weak was the dessert, a very simple chocolate lava cake. The value was perfect. We had an early table and were greeted by all the staff on arrival. who were friendly and attentive. as service went on and the restaurant filled service did get a little slower and impersonal, however they were very busy. I would like to go back and try their regular menu

Giovanni is a wonderful host and made us feel right at home in this elegant setting, with its almost dim lighting and background music that complemented the delightful evening. Chef Chiara is fantastic, taking us on a culinary journey with delicious appetizers and almost sublime first courses. And what about the desserts? Exquisite. Thank you for the "surreal" two-hour experience we had here.

This restaurant in the heart of Rome is a real surprise. The atmosphere is pleasant and refined, and the staff is warm and friendly. The dishes are delicious and never boring in their preparation or presentation. One thing is for sure: we'll definitely be back. Bravo!

elegant atmosphere, excellent service, stratospheric food

We went to "Ai Bozzi" in Trastevere on Sunday afternoon and had a truly excellent experience. We called at 2:30 PM to ask what time they closed, and even though the kitchen closed at 3:00 PM, they greeted us very kindly, inviting us to come in anyway. The welcome was impeccable: courteous, polite, and very professional staff. The place is truly charming, clean, tidy, and has a pleasant atmosphere, thanks in part to the beautiful lighting. The menu is extensive and well-structured. As soon as we were seated, they offered us a small welcome appetizer, which was truly delicious and much appreciated. We ate very well: carefully prepared dishes, both in presentation and flavor, generous portions, and quality ingredients. The service was attentive and friendly throughout the meal. The bathroom also deserves a special mention: beautiful, modern, and spotlessly clean. The price was absolutely fair for what was offered. A positive experience in every way. We'll definitely be back!

Every time I return to Ai Bozzi, I'm never disappointed. The food is top-quality and the dishes are innovative yet true to Roman tradition. The atmosphere and service are top-notch.

A magnificent restaurant in the heart of the Trastevere neighborhood, with local food and a very welcoming atmosphere. The waiters were attentive to our every need and offered recommendations. They served us a complimentary appetizer of tuna polpette, and for starters we ordered oysters, tuna tartare, and sea bass carpaccio, which we had never tried before and was surprisingly delicious. For our main course, we had lasagna, different from the others but spectacular, and a wonderful lobster risotto—it was like taking a bite of the sea. Finally, for dessert, we ordered tiramisu, also different from the others we had tried but incredibly good. The price is a bit higher than other restaurants in the area, but it's worth every penny; you get what you pay for. On our next visit to Rome, we will definitely return and recommend it to everyone!
