Refined restaurant with interesting and imaginative proposals starting from the bread. There are many dishes to try on the menu, all original, which is surprising in the Trastevere restaurant scene flattened by tourism.
the service is fast and attentive
It perhaps suffers from the fact of being in a very touristy area and could be mistaken for yet another Roman trattoria.

Locale nel cuore di Trastevere ubicato in una deliziosa piazza. Locale accogliente, personale sempre attento alle esigenze del cliente, molto cordiale e professionale. Ottima presentazione dei piatti e qualità dei prodotti. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo e senz'altro da consigliare. Per quanto mi riguarda, peraltro vivendo a Trastevere, da tornare

I have known him for many years, and I always come back with pleasure. We usually come for my wife's or my son's birthday. Very helpful and smiling staff, attentive but not stuffy. The cook is very good and always offers interesting, balanced and tasty dishes. Every day there are off-menu items. Among the many dishes I love his "Pasta and broccoli with arzilla broth (Roman name for the nail ray, poor fish) an ancient dish but with great flavour. They welcomed us with a gift from the chef "Fish meatball on avocado mayonnaise" crunchy and tasty.
We had appetizers:
Tartare of raw prawns with artichokes and pearls of anchovies, very good, very tender raw artichokes, very balanced followed by a trio of tartare (tuna mayonnaise with avocado and wasabi, prawns and fried seaweed and sea bass and raspberries, this one truly superlative). First, Tagliolini with cheese and pepper and raw prawns, creamy and balanced with perceptible pepper in the background without overpowering the very fresh prawns. As a second course, cod meatballs creamed with chickpeas and black garlic, a real surprise, soft and really good cod with crunchy chickpeas (fried with a mix of oriental spices) on a garlic hummus. For dessert, Namelaka, dark chocolate, salted caramel ice cream and peanut shortcrust pastry and a pumpkin and chocolate Creme Brulee, both excellent.
As a wine we chose a white, the Kitz blend from the "Rottensteiner" winery in the Dolomites, fragrant and with an intense flavour. It's not cheap but it's worth everything it costs. It's not easy to park.

We've done the tasting menu and it was absolutely great. So much delicious and interesting food and presentation. The service could be faster or more attentive but to be fair, they were very busy with 3 big groups. We had a lovely evening.

Conosco questo locale da anni e non delude mai, cibo squisito, qualità delle materie prime che ormai non si trova più e servizio ottimo, tutti cortesi e attenti. Prezzi giusti per la qualità che offre.
