What can I say...everything was excellent, from the welcoming atmosphere of a typical tavern, to the very friendly and welcoming hostess. And what about the dishes? Delicious, plentiful, and...10/10. Well done, guys, you're bringing true VENETIAN cuisine to the forefront!!

A quiet little spot in the heart of lively Venice, just a step away from the busy tourist crowds yet wonderfully peaceful. We came here knowing about this place in advance and were delighted to try traditional Venetian cicchetti, freshly fried seafood, and local wine. The atmosphere is warm and homey, with a handwritten menu in Italian that adds so much charm and authenticity. We were welcomed by a very kind and friendly staff member who served us quickly and helped us choose dishes, even though we weren’t familiar with many of the names. It felt genuinely local and unpretentious — no plastic signs or glossy picture menus, just real Venetian hospitality and flavors. A hundred percent recommended if you want to experience the true spirit of Venice.

Away from the touristy areas, a very pleasant and quiet little place. A jovial and super friendly “landlady”. I recommend it!!!

Wonderful food and dining experience

The owner is super friendly and very accommodating. A very quiet and cozy atmosphere, away from the tourist rush of Venice. The food was excellent and the value for money was right. A family-friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended. The menu was scribbled on a placemat. Very original. We'll go back when we're there!

Exceptional food, service and ambiance!! I was fortunate to stumble across this restaurant when I was doing some last minute shopping during my last evening in Venice. I was not disappointed!!! It is nestled in a quiet area of Venice overlooking a canal. The aromas and sounds from the kitchen made me feel like I was in someone's home instead of a restaurant. Their specialty "Uvetta" was quite the treat after a delicious meal of linguine with clams, sea bream and panna cotta paired with their house red wine. Expect to spend at least 1.5 to 2 hours there which is exactly what I needed to soak it all in before I had to say arrivederce to Venice.
