Not many typical dishes...but those on the menu are very good....more suitable for pizza Staff more than kind...with a unique courtesy

Complimenti al pizzaiolo Fabio, che sa lavorare molto bene la pizza, e a tutto lo staff del locale, tutti molto simpatici e disponibili. Del posto, questo è sicuramente la pizzeria migliore

We stayed here for a week and really enjoyed it. The Kirchler family is very nice and helpful with questions. Our apartment "my nature" No. 207 on the 2nd floor was beautiful with everything you need. Below us on the ground floor was the restaurant's kitchen and you could hear occasional noises. The restaurant closes at 10:30 p.m., so that wasn't a tragedy for us. St. Johann is a very good starting point for hikes and excursions. Klausberg, Speikboden, various hiking destinations with many huts that, as usual in South Tyrol, offer great service and good food. In short, it was a completely successful vacation :-)

This was our second time at the Ahrner Wirt and we can only recommend it. The Kirchler family is very nice, the apartments are great and the pizzeria in the house is also recommended.

We spent two wonderful weeks in the Ahrner Wirt Appartments in St. Johann and were thrilled! Location: The location of the apartments is great. Centrally located in St. Johann, right on the river, it offers wonderful views of the mountains, the river and the church. Despite the central location, it is very quiet, ideal for relaxing. The river in particular offers a quiet, very calming sound at night when the window is open. Two supermarkets are within walking distance in 5 minutes. From here you can start very nice trips to Speikboden, Kasern and Bruneck. The more distant sights of Seceda, the 3 Peaks or Lake Braies can also be easily reached by car in under 90 minutes. For us the best “home base” in South Tyrol to date. Furnishing: The apartment was excellently equipped and overall very clean. The kitchen had everything you need for a summer sports holiday - including a refrigerator, oven, stove, dishwasher, coffee machine and kettle. The furniture was made of great wood and was still very new. The motion light in the hallway, the clothes horse, the large covered balcony with table and chairs, and the modern bathroom with walk-in shower were particularly practical. We liked the many storage spaces, especially if you have a lot of sports and photography equipment with you. The large and practically divided closet, the safe and the integrated steam sauna in the bedroom rounded off the equipment. The central vacuum cleaner was an added plus, especially if you are here for more than a few days. Overall, the apartment offered an absolutely harmonious, cozy atmosphere with so many details thought out and lots of beautiful wooden and modern living elements. Service: Booking in advance and checking in were super easy and the atmosphere was very friendly and totally familiar. The communication was perfect and, above all, fast. The owners were very helpful and made sure we felt completely comfortable. 😊 Extras: In the basement there was a sauna, a steam bath and washing machines as well as the option of a breakfast basket, which we didn't take advantage of. The rental of e-bikes enabled us to go on great trips in the area. There was also a lot of information material about things to do in the Ahrntal. The many free parking spaces were also a big plus. But the best thing: the in-house restaurant and pizzeria! More service and South Tyrolean cuisine is not possible. We were there almost every evening and were more than thrilled! Overall, our stay at the Ahrner Wirt Appartments was excellent. We can highly recommend the accommodation and are already looking forward to our next visit!

Great pizza, large selection of wines, very nice service.

We felt very comfortable in a high-quality, modern apartment with good facilities. The host was very friendly and helpful. Great location, great mountain views, good proximity to the Klausberg and Speikboden ski areas - everything was great, 100% recommended!
