Agriturismo Zucchegni In Castelnuovo di farfa

Dopo aver visitato l'abbazia di Farfa decidiamo di fermarci all'agriturismo Zucchegni per il pranzo. Devo dire che la scelta è stata felicissima! Il posto è immerso nella natura con animali che pascolano liberi, bellissimo sia per gli adulti che per i bambini. Il cibo è preparato con materie prime di qualità, i piatti semplici ma ben fatti, senza troppi ingredienti o abbinamenti forzati. Ci hanno proposto un menù fisso con un antipasto in cui c'era di tutto! Salumi, formaggi, bruschette, legumi, pizza, verdure grigliate. Si poteva scegliere tra 2 primi: ravioli o gricia, entrambi buonissimi. Il secondo era composto da arrosto, salsicce e patate al forno, anche qui eccellente. Tutto concluso con crostata fatta in casa, caffè e limoncello. Le porzioni veramente abbondanti, la cortesia del proprietario e di tutto lo staff sono un valore aggiunto. Il prezzo decisamente basso per tutto quello che abbiamo mangiato. Che dire? Bravi! Grazie! Se dovessimo trovarci a passare di lì, di sicuro torneremmo volentieri!

Quite spartan, rustic and simple farmhouses, but there were some like that. Located in the middle of the olive groves of lower Sabina (put the navigator on). The owner of the "house" is like the farmhouse, simple, "rustic" but always kind. Eating?? Excellent, from starters to main courses (grill needs improvement a bit). The first courses are a must, from gnocchi to tonnarelli cacio e pepe/gricia and carbonaram. A tip: don't have breakfast if you go for lunch or don't have lunch if you go for dinner. At Zucchegni everything is super plentiful and the prices are very low. Highly recommended!!

A real farmhouse... excellent food, particular environment, very well looked after, beautiful outdoor areas with country animals. Large and convenient parking. Fixed menu at €28.00 including coffee, sweets, water and wine. Great place, if you are in the area you have to go there!

It feels like being inside some relative's house! Homely atmosphere, restaurant immersed in the countryside that serves good and genuine products. Fixed menu at €28 with mixed starters, gricia or ravioli, steak, pork and grilled sausage with baked potatoes. Possibility to also have gf pasta. Animals surround this real farmhouse near the Farfa Abbey. Advise

It's nice to eat homemade animals that act as a choreography, I've been there many times and it always gets better, the only sore point is the wine

We have been there on various occasions. But yesterday we celebrated my husband's birthday which was great. Congratulations to the owners for the organization, everything was perfect from the room, to the delicious and plentiful food and to the staff. Congrats until next time

Quiet place, excellent food, worth visiting

This farmhouse a few minutes from the Farfa Abbey is a nice place for a refreshment meal surrounded by greenery. Their all-inclusive formula at €28/person is more than satisfactory. The mixed starter was good and plentiful, a decent gricia (pity it arrived at the table almost cold), an honest pork grill - a neck steak and a sausage each) with baked potatoes. At the end of the meal a small slice of tart - really good - coffee and bitters. What can I say... beautiful day, beautiful place, to try with confidence.

Siamo stati con amici e bambini al seguito. Posto bellissimo, incastonato sotto l'abbazia di Farfa. Tantissimi animali sparsi nella proprietà lo rendono un posto perfetto per i bambini. Menu fisso 28 euro a persona tutto incluso, anche acqua e vino: antipasto abbondante, un primo uguale per tutti (nel nostro caso gricia), grigliata mista (braciola di maiale e salsiccia) caffe e dolcetti misti. Materie prime buone e lavorate bene in un ambiente spartano e genuino. Unica nota negativa l'olio utilizzato per la bruschetta, essendo in sabina mi aspettavo un olio di qualità. Consigliato
