A quiet and peaceful location, highly recommended for those seeking relaxation. The owners (Mr. and Mrs. Carlo) are extremely kind, courteous, and always available to accommodate any request. The dishes are unique and unexpected (in the sense of refined and out of the ordinary), well-prepared and presented. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and last but not least...excellent value for money.

Dinner with friends. A unique location, tastefully decorated. Good food in a quiet and pleasant setting. We enjoyed the wine and liqueurs, both refined and with exotic or classic aromas. It's winter now; in summer, I think it's worth another visit for the outdoor area. The owner is a rune enthusiast and will extract them upon request.

My partner and I only went for dinner; we had a great meal and excellent value. The menu, in addition to traditional dishes, includes unusual options. The Celtic atmosphere is relaxing. Mr. Carlo is a very kind and timeless man who provided attentive service and made us feel right at home. The rune reading at the end of the meal was also captivating. The liqueurs are also excellent. The only improvement, in my opinion, would be some background music. It's a very interesting and quaint place that we recommend.

Let me start by saying I'm only talking about the RESTAURANT. I returned to this place after twenty years, with a heart full of memories and the curiosity to see it again after the restoration following the 2012 earthquake. Unfortunately, along with the ravages of time, the magic that made it unique seems to have faded: once upon a time, it was said to be inhabited by a ghost, a discreet presence that added charm and mystery to evenings. Today, no trace or charm remains of that tale. The cuisine remains good and authentic, strongly rooted in popular tradition, with an interesting use of hemp in many dishes. The service is simple, friendly, yet attentive, with just the right amount of attention and friendliness. Nestled in the heart of the Mantua countryside, right next to the Secchia River, the place maintains a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere, but has unfortunately lost the enchanting aura that made it truly special twenty years ago.
