Posto incantevole, personale gentilissimo e cibo buono. Ho letto molte recensioni negative ma sinceramente non ne capisco il senso. Io consiglio di venire qui perché il cibo è genuino e l'atmosfera è molto romantica.

This evening we went to eat at Tenuta La Siesta and we were fascinated by it. The location is wonderful and it's nice to see the ladies in the kitchen; It feels like being at grandma's house. Perfect broad bean puree and scialatielli with horse stew that took me back in time. Really good

Partiamo dalla strada per arrivarci: è un incubo ed è totalmente priva di cartelli che indichino l'ubicazione del ristorante! Si tratta di una stradina strettissima piena di buche con i muretti a secco e se si incontra una macchina in senso contrario si rimane bloccati e infatti abbiamo rischiato di incastrarci un paio di volte e di causare danni all'auto per via delle buche profonde. Arrivati la location è indubbiamente molto carina e scenografica, l'ampio giardino con i tavoli all'aperto sotto grandi alberi con le luci e un carretto tipico creano una bella atmosfera, tuttavia le note positive si fermano qui. La serata non è molto affollata per cui riusciamo a mangiare in tempi rapidi ma le pietanze non sono indimenticabili: fritto nella norma e primi piatti, due strascinati al bosco d'estate, abbastanza scialbi. Ciliegina sulla torta: lo sconto the fork non è stato applicato senza motivo. Non ci tornerei.

We stayed two nights in the property taking the opportunity to stop for dinner in the evening. The rooms were brand new and comfortable Impeccable cleanliness. As for dinner, the location is enchanting, you eat outdoors among fig and olive trees with the sea in the distance. Excellent proposals for typical local dishes with a special mention for the trasciati with horse stew sauce. Impeccable service and standard bill. I think it will become a fixed stop for me on holidays in Puglia.
