I've only been there once, but the experience was truly memorable. The agriturismo is immersed in the Lucanian countryside, with a relaxing, panoramic view that immediately puts you at ease. It's ideal for those seeking a break from the chaos of the city and a peaceful lunch. The cuisine is authentic and genuine, with typical Lucanian dishes often prepared with locally sourced ingredients. From fresh homemade pasta to local cured meats and cheeses, to rustic meats and side dishes, every course exudes flavor and tradition. The staff is welcoming, friendly, and very helpful, always ready to explain the dishes and recommend pairings or house specialties. The warm, family atmosphere makes you feel immediately at ease, as if you were a guest at a friend's house. Despite only having visited once, I was completely satisfied with the quality of the food, the service, and the location. Loved our lunch. It was nice to eat local and enjoy the region. Following a stay in Balvano we journeyed over and spent a few hours with great food. It's tucked away but a place to enjoy.
