A charming place, a working farm raising Chianina cattle that offers high-quality hospitality. I have to split my review into two parts: the room and the dinner. The room was offered at a low price, €95 for a quadruple (2 adults and 2 children), which is a bit too expensive for the quality of the place. It allows you to overlook some of the negatives, such as poor soundproofing and the extra beds (it's a double room with two extra beds), which are too thin. But I have two small children, so it's fine. Of course, an adult would struggle. Again, the room's value for money was excellent. A picturesque view of the valley and the 500 hectares of free-range cow pastures, which unfortunately we didn't get to see due to the rainy days. A small suggestion: a few more pillows would be appreciated. We then stayed for dinner, along with another family of friends who were staying with us. The old stable that houses the kitchens and living room is truly stunning, well-kept, and with that fireplace that makes everything even better. The downside is the prices, which are high for a farm stay. We noticed this right away, but we accepted the offer. We pay little for accommodation and a little more for food, and that's understandable. We ate well, the quality of the food was evident, with excellent cured meats and cheeses, and the first courses (the kids loved them). The prices, however, are truly borderline: €20-25 for a first course, although high-quality, aren't for everyone. Again, you can accept that if you balance it with the low price of the rooms. However, I have a hard time imagining locals coming just for dinner. The downside of the meal: the meat. Mind you, it wasn't bad, not at all. A little too beefy, and I understand the reasoning behind free-range farming. But paying €32 for a porcini mushroom fillet on a farm in a farm setting is a pretty sweet deal. Instead, it was the end of the fillet with a lot of chewing. The rib-eye steak was too fresh; it needed at least 20 days of aging for the €85 per kilo it was quoted. But I can't complain because the lady was kind enough to bring us the cut before cooking it. We ordered four first courses for the kids, five appetizers (excellent), an 800-gram rib-eye steak on the bone and a fillet with porcini mushrooms to share among the four adults, a liter and a half of wine, four desserts, and two liqueurs. We spent €370, almost €50 per person, including children. Which makes me say that dinner was expensive and didn't leave me happy, despite the splendid setting and the kindness of our server. Also considering the lower cost of raw materials, I would have expected different prices. However, if I look at the overall experience, by raising the room price and lowering the dinner price, I find a balance, but I would expect breakfast to be included, which I really don't understand why not. You can also offer it for a fee, as many establishments now do in Italy. I understand the costs, but having to leave the room and the establishment without the option of breakfast is a significant inconvenience. We didn't even have an agreement with any reputable establishments; we found ourselves crowded into the nearest bar... a truly painful and unfortunate situation. Do I recommend going? Yes, but keeping the aforementioned balance in mind. Is it marketing? A strategy I didn't like.

We stayed at the property by chance and were very pleased. A beautiful farmhouse in an enchanting location with a stunning panoramic terrace. The owners were warmly welcomed and the atmosphere was delightful.

We had lunch at the Il Colombaio farmhouse and it was a truly pleasant experience. The service was impeccable: the staff was friendly, attentive, and always available, making us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. The meal was excellent, with authentic dishes prepared with quality ingredients and boasting an authentic, traditional flavor. The portions were generous and beautifully presented, and each course exuded passion and care. An ideal place for those seeking good food, tranquility, and exceptional service. We'll definitely be back!

We spent New Year's Eve at this agriturismo with a group of friends, and overall it was a wonderful experience. The strong points are clear: the atmosphere is welcoming and refined, the food is truly excellent and plentiful, with top-quality meat (all produced on-site). The New Year's Eve dinner was rich and authentic, from appetizers to dessert, and the house wines perfectly complemented the menu. The owner and staff were extremely kind, always attentive and helpful, with a constant smile and a true passion for what they do. The only small flaw is that, perhaps due to her enthusiasm to make everyone feel comfortable on such an important evening, the owner was a bit too attentive even during the pre-booking phase. In fact, she insisted on knowing each of our dietary preferences in advance. This is clearly done in good faith, but for those who prefer a more discreet service, it may seem a bit excessive. Otherwise, excellent value for money for a New Year's Eve party, clean rooms, and a hearty breakfast the next morning. We recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic farm experience, perhaps with advance notice. We'll gladly return another time!

So far, we've only been there for food (December 27, 2025). We had a truly wonderful time. The food is excellent, generous and well-served, and the staff is very polite and friendly. A couple of hours were spent with grace and good food, with an exceptional dessert. The place is extraordinary, just looking at it while walking around. The view is breathtaking. It's a magical place that we'll definitely return to, perhaps even to stay overnight. Highly recommended.

We went here for lunch. A very characteristic location. Wonderful atmosphere and excellent dishes, each one better than the last. Friendly staff. Special mention for Mrs. Irma's kindness.

We often come to this Agriturismo for lunch, where the welcome, food, and atmosphere are always impeccable. I always recommend it, and it always proves to be an excellent choice.

We passed by this farmhouse by mistake, we were a group of 12, we only took appetizers and vegetables and 6 desserts, we were amazed by the astronomical price, we will never go to this place again, they had to heat the bread, the dishes were brought in small steps, I didn't take photos of the food because it wasn't worth it

My boyfriend and I happened upon this charming place completely by chance, a little late for lunch—it was after 2 PM—but we were still warmly welcomed. We had an excellent and generous platter of cold cuts to start, and two soups: pasta and beans and legume soup, accompanied by a delicious house white wine (Grechetto)! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! WELL DONE!

I had lunch today at this beautiful farmhouse nestled in the green Umbrian hills. The food was of the highest quality, expertly cooked to enhance its flavors. The meat, which melts in your mouth, and the vegetables and oil are all home-produced. The homemade desserts and first courses were also excellent. We will gladly return, also thanks to the courtesy and kindness of the hostess.
