We had lunch at this beautiful farmhouse with our 9 month old baby. We were able to taste different dishes than usual, cooked with truly excellent raw materials. Excellent appetizers and dishes with truffles. Furthermore, the location is truly splendid and well-kept. And then, for me as a real cat lady😅, the kittens outside the club wandering around the countryside were an added value! Thanks for the happy experience.

Four of us, on our way back to Rome, decided to stop for lunch in Fabro, in the restaurant where one of us always went with her parents as a girl, but there was no room and it was almost 2pm. By pure chance we called this Agriturismo which confirmed the possibility of eating.
A real surprise!!! Beautiful stone building in front of a breathtaking landscape. We see a swimming pool and enter the restaurant. We are surrounded by a 'good smell' and the warmth of the lit fireplace. A waitress politely sits us down at the table in front of the fireplace and points us to the blackboard with the menu... Irma arrives and we later discover that it is the owner who takes our orders, suggesting and explaining each dish: I wanted some meat and she brings me a tray of raw meat to allow me to choose it.
Friends and wife order appetizers and first courses: all homemade, all produced by them. I ask for some oil to taste with bread and I fall in love! I, with my Apulian origins and with a Sicilian husband, wish that every restaurant also had a list of oils as well as wines 💛 I taste a bit of everything: everything is excellent and here comes my steak... served on a hot stone with coarse salt and rosemary: very good, tender and tasty. Porcini mushrooms, cabbage, potato pie as side dishes: all really good!
We begin to converse with Irma and Attanasio, perfect hosts, and we taste the (local) trifle, a must-try. They serve us coffee in front of the fireplace while we all have a pleasant conversation. I could say the perfect Sunday lunch!!! Super recommended restaurant. Excellent raw materials cooked with 'simplicity and competence'.
We will return on nice days to try your accommodations and enjoy the good food and your company again.

Sunday lunch!
Irma, the owner welcomes us with great emphasis, which always pleases the customer.
The idea of a menu written on a blackboard at the entrance is very nice, you photograph it and easily read it at the table. The proposals of the day are neither too few nor too many, I would say they are right. It is clear that the kitchen only works with excellent quality raw materials, especially in season and I believe also from its own production. Finally a restaurant that puts olive oil on the table that has truly been produced at km0.
Arta, the waitress, immediately put us at ease and was available throughout the lunch for any of our requests. I really appreciated his attention towards my daughter, a 10 year old girl. We tasted appetizers, umbrellas with Chianina ragù, tagliatelle and potato flan. Congratulations to the cook!!! We didn't have the pleasure of meeting her, but from what we understood and tasted, her secret ingredient is that love that only a grandmother can give! Lucky this grandmother's granddaughter !!!!!!!
The coffee offered to us by Atanasio, the owner, was very pleasant in front of the fireplace that dominates the entire room. We also took a beautiful walk between the panoramic terrace, the crowded chicken coop and a few caresses of the sweet Maremma. We will be back, of course!

Excellent place to find safe shelter both to eat and to stay. I often go to restaurants where they have excellent dishes cooked from ingredients they produce. Exquisite oil (even the one they produce). Highly recommended!

I had lunch with a special stop during a motorway trip, taking advice from Google. It was great advice. I cannot evaluate the hotel because we only ate but the restaurant, although offering a limited number of courses, is of a high standard with a room heated by a large fireplace. The Chianina cooked on the grill and served on a soapstone plate to keep the dish warm is truly remarkable. Thanks for your availability and also for a quick look at the company.

On a holiday trip coming up from Salerno we stopped at this farmhouse. Already on arrival we had positive vibes and in fact we had a great time. Now we have finished lunch, beautiful warm, welcoming and clean location. I ate an excellent legume soup, my husband and my son some excellent cappelletti in broth and two tender and tasty sliced on stone (my daughter also liked it). If you are passing through Fabro I highly recommend it.

We stopped to eat on a road trip. Stunning atmosphere suspended in time and space. The tagliatelle with white ragout are fantastic. A really nice Christmas present! We hope to return soon!

Exit the motorway and let yourself be pampered by the kindness and cuisine of your hosts. A stop worth making. We ate well and had a chat in a welcoming and relaxing environment. The cost is very reasonable considering the quality.
