Fantastic I got married on May 25, 2024, and the event turned out just the way my husband and I wanted it. The place is beautiful, we had the symbolic ritual in the pool, the guests were very happy. Excellent food and wine, plus we had a bottle of their wine as a wedding favor, and it was greatly appreciated. During the event everything went well, and all the staff were kind and helpful. I recommend the village to everyone, we were enthusiastic about it.

Only eaten, very characteristic and beautiful place, I recommend you try it, and you will see that you will be very satisfied, food with truly excellent dishes, immersed in the countryside with vineyards and olive trees around, plenty of free parking.

Posto rustico, adatto ad eventi. Abbiamo pranzato nella prima sala entrando a sinistra: un vero e proprio inferno di caldo, c’era un solo climatizzatore a colonna mentre l’altro era apparentemente guasto, solo che magicamente verso la fine del servizio l’hanno accesso e funzionava. Un pranzo ai limiti fisici dell’essere umano. Fatta questa premessa, il cibo è accettabile, il servizio un po’ lento. Prezzi nella norma.

By chance in this restaurant, immersed in the green countryside of the hills, here it seems that time has stopped, a location with a historical flavor, the waiters dressed in innkeepers' clothes from the 1500s are evocative, everything was perfect despite it being packed, between events and à la carte menu, excellent meat menu, delicious first courses, very kind and one hundred percent friendly staff, everything perfect, thank you all for the splendid Sunday spent here with you, you left us with a splendid memory, what can I say, well done , people who work well deserve applause. I plan to add the fifth star the next time I come for the pinsa 😀. Meanwhile: the welcome was attentive and courteous. The Borgo is a very large and well-organised structure, with a large car park for guests in front of the entrance. We noticed the cellar before entering but we did not learn more about its actual function; we will certainly find out next time, because we will certainly be back and in company. They accompanied us to the table located outdoors in a covered space with a beautiful roof overlooking a sort of small square whose perimeter is dotted with green glass demijohns. In the center a fountain gushing fresh water. The view: spectacular! The Roman castles from this position must be magnificent especially in the evening under the cover of night. There is a large swimming pool with a space ready to be equipped for parties and a fabulous vineyard that looms as you cross the gate to the right and left. The service was quite quick and the girls dressed in innkeeper costumes were attentive and helpful. The tasty appetizers and the exquisite ravioli with pine nuts and rocket, as well as the apple pie. I would say that it was a pleasant and happy discovery. I admire the work of those who manage to manage a structure of this magnitude while keeping the banquets under control as well as the non-regular customers. Pinsa....wait for me!!! We have returned several times since the first one and have always enjoyed both the food and the service; unfortunately this time (06/30/2024) I have to say that the meat disappointed me. We got the picanha and couldn't eat it. Apart from an excess of fat that exceeded almost 50% of the piece, the meat was unchewable. I ate the first three pieces which were passable but I had to leave the rest, while the other two diners, apologizing, replaced the dish but the second time it wasn't good either. This inconvenience won't make me change my initial review, but I'm still waiting for the extra star.

I had dinner with 2 friends, in my opinion the structure should not be considered a restaurant, but only a banquet room. There were only 3 tables to eat at in the evening. Staff with little attention to customers, they didn't even have prosecco, unacceptable for a restaurant. They didn't have a TV to watch the UEFA match, Italy and Croatia were playing that evening. We ate a typical appetizer, consisting of cured meats and porchetta, all very fatty and poor quality things, the mozzarella tasted of nothing. The white pizza brought as bread was warm but not fresh, it looked like it was from the day before. I ate a steak with porcini mushrooms of not excellent quality, tough and tasteless meat, the mushrooms seemed frozen. A disappointment on the slopes of the Castelli Romani, I expected more. I definitely won't go back, there is better in the area. I don't recommend it.

On Saturday we got married in this splendid location where you go back in time in a village that fully reflects a time now gone by but which can still be savored here... impeccable service, organization and dinner... it's not rhetoric but pure truth... .we couldn't find anything better for an unforgettable day of our lives...OUR WEDDING!!!
