Good home cooking in a green setting

We had dinner at Fontana a Valle yesterday and were very satisfied. We had the opportunity to try everything from appetizers to main courses, all the way to the pinsa, and were delighted to discover that everything was delicious. The cured meats were fresh, flavorful, and of high quality; the meat was beautifully aged and tender, and even the pan-fried vegetables on the side were delicious and not greasy (as is often the case in restaurants). The pinsa was a wonderful discovery; it's made with very little yeast and uses several unusual flours, which clearly shows the craftsmanship behind it (definitely NOT a supermarket pizza). Finally, the desserts were also delicious and handmade. The staff was extremely kind, and the wait times were reasonable; the environment was very well-kept and clean. The prices were fair and excellent value. We'll definitely be back to try the first courses, too; we recommend it to everyone! P.S.: I find the sign at the entrance advising parents to supervise their children to be correct and respectful towards other diners (just to educate some parents who no longer know what good manners are).

Great food in a relaxing location just outside Capranica Prenestina

Just a stone's throw from Capranica Prenestina, I went there for the first time and found a family atmosphere and very tasty authentic cuisine. The establishment seems very well-kept. The ragù and pesto with guanciale are excellent.

A breath of fresh air from the heat of Rome in a welcoming environment, you eat very well at reasonable prices

Pranzato qui dopo aver visitato Guadagnolo e il Santuario della Mentorella. Bella vista sulle montagne circostanti, tranquillo, buona cucina casareccia. Ci siamo trovati molto bene.
