Enchanting location and excellent cuisine. Local ingredients and a lot of passion. The rosemary risotto and fried chicken and vegetables were fantastic. A warm welcome. We'll be back!

Hot mixed appetizers of garden vegetables, herb risotto, raw vegetable gnocchi, chicken and fried courgettes that 'sing', two homemade desserts, coffee and liqueurs. Price more than adequate for the sidereal quality of the ingredients and the cuisine.

There's an air of times gone by. Franca and her mother create cuisine with forgotten flavors, using their own oil and vegetables from the garden, or perhaps picked on the hills. Splendid place ❤️

Always a confirmation!!! stay and dine in this structure I recommend it to everyone who passes through Lucca. Mrs. Franca is exceptional, a sublime cook with typical local cuisine enriched by all her herbs that she grows and collects with so much love.

09/10/2025: A simple, no-frills pizzeria with an unpretentious atmosphere, but excellent home delivery service—its real strength. The pizzas are delicious, well-topped, and cooked to perfection. The pizza 🍕 initiative with special ingredients is interesting. Even though the oven is electric, they're really good.

21/10/2025: A very simple restaurant near the splendid church of San Cassiano di Controne, above Bagni di Lucca. They bring whatever has been cooked that day, and you eat on a lovely terrace, with no choice. The fixed menu is €25. We started with warm focaccia and continued with meat tortelli, tagliolini with mushrooms, mixed roasts, French fries, and a selection of fried mushrooms, plus dessert and coffee. The first courses were generous and of good quality. The second course left something to be desired: the mixed roasts were sliced ​​very thin, like prosciutto. It's true that they come back to ask if they need more, but slices more suited to a roast would have been appreciated. The French fries are standard, and the fried mushrooms are good, but as mentioned, they were just a sample. Overall, recommended for anyone passing through. I'm not sure I'd go there specifically to visit.
05/10/2025: A truly unique place, truly welcoming, with a panoramic view and authentic home cooking. The food is delicious and unforgettable. Recommended.
