I went yesterday with my boyfriend and a couple of friends. The venue is beautiful, but it could actually be even nicer with some improvements (for example, they have a garden with swings, but it's not well-maintained, or an unused terrace). The staff is kind and friendly. We had the set menu (an appetizer made with their own products, a first or second course, a dessert, a liqueur, and a drink). The food was plentiful and delicious. I recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet evening with live music.

So much potential... but untapped
We visited this beautiful establishment with six people to celebrate a birthday. We booked in advance and called several times to ask for information, most importantly, whether there was a specific time to start or finish the Sunday lunch menu. The response was that we could arrive whenever we wanted, no problem.
Some of the guests arrived early, the last ones at 2:30 PM, so we advised them that they could start with the menu, but after 15 minutes, nothing arrived. They were serving the other tables, and even a table with a couple who arrived after us began service before us. We repeatedly reminded the wait staff that we were fully booked, and finally, after more than 20 minutes, the appetizers began. Not all the dishes were there; some items on the set menu were missing, so the waiter went to the kitchen to ask, since he, rightly so, only brings what he's told. When he returned, he told us that some items were out because it was late. He offered us a small consolation, since we were disappointed by what had happened, by sending us a small sample of minestra maritata, made by scraping the bottom of the pot. It was obvious how small the quantity was, which was a shame because it was delicious, as was everything else from the appetizer. The same thing happened with the first courses: they listed dishes that weren't included, as well as omitting some from the set menu. And just when it seemed like we'd made our choice, we were then told that some of the pasta shapes were out of stock and had to be replaced with something else, again because it was late. So, after making the changes, we received the dishes after a while, and some were good, while others lacked salt. We expressed our disappointment in a civil manner, and unfortunately, the waiter seemed to be having a hard time. He tried to politely justify himself, but we were referring to the restaurant manager, not the employees who are simply doing their job. There were no problems with the main courses, probably because they have ample meat. From the various tastings, everything was truly excellent. The desserts were average, I'd say, some better than others, while the accompanying fruit was passable. The restaurant is well-maintained and quaint. From the parking lot, you reach the first set of stairs that lead to a small area with a few children's playground equipment and tables with chairs where you can sit while keeping an eye on the little ones. The second set of stairs leads to the outdoor terrace, where there are several tables, likely used in the summer, near a pizza oven and a foosball table. On the white cobblestone floor, you can appreciate the name of the restaurant and a drawing of the building. On the right is the first room, likely reserved for private events, with attached restrooms. Further along is the main hall. The interior is truly quaint and has a truly welcoming feel, though not too hot, as the gas stoves couldn't heat the entire space given its size. The central tree supporting the room's roof is striking, and the fireplace, which heated the nearby tables, is beautiful. Outside the hall, there's a path, unfortunately unlit, that leads to the restrooms, which at least are clean and well-maintained. With the lights on in the evening, the effect is even more beautiful than in the morning, and it's adequately lit, making it easier to go up and down the main staircase. It's a shame there are no animals. The experience could definitely have been better. It's incomprehensible how there wasn't enough food to cover all the courses for those who had chosen the set menu. I believe the management was flawed, and I don't know if it was coincidence or standard practice. Upon payment, no apology or discount was given for what happened. If you go, make sure you go early; you might be better off than we were. The food is good, but the management needs improvement.
