After a while of being unable to visit this splendid farmhouse for family reasons, we finally returned on Sunday to celebrate my mother's 88th birthday. As always, we had a wonderful time, from the welcome to the delicious food, prepared with excellent ingredients that are uncommon in these valleys, topped off by Mirella's attentive service and a selection of top-quality wines, chosen with the help of Luigi. Highly recommended, definitely an experience worth trying.

Gorgeous place, good food. They don't serve wine by the glass, which I've honestly never seen in a restaurant.

A truly wonderful place with lovely dogs, a gifted cook, and a cosmopolitan host with 100% home-grown ingredients – a Slow Food establishment straight out of a textbook – thank you also for the pleasant conversation with the host and the tip for Lago Calaita, where I went swimming with Blue after this festive lunch!

Nestled in an enchanting landscape, in the midst of a wooded nature... gourmet food, all strictly local... the owners are special, genuine and authentic... a magnificent ending to a wonderful honeymoon... we'll be back!

Al Ponte

29/06/2026: We stayed at the Albergo al Ponte and had a truly wonderful time. Everything was perfect: the room was clean, the atmosphere welcoming, and the breakfast was excellent. The owner (I think) was honest, smiling, kind, and always available, making us feel truly at home. The bikes were easy to use. The breakfast was very good and plentiful. We also appreciated the small gift we received, a very nice touch that made our stay even more pleasant. It's definitely a place we'd happily recommend and would happily return to.
08/06/2026: Beautiful property in a quiet yet convenient location, close to shops, restaurants, gyms, and various activities. Friendly staff, always available and ready to accommodate any request. Very good breakfast buffet. Special thanks to the cleaning staff. Highly recommended.

09/09/2025: Departure at 1269 near Malga Baessa, arrival after about 2 hours at Malga Cere 1743, some of us continue and reach the lake below the Maddalena fork (after having traveled through Val Maddalena) around 2040. Satisfied and beautiful places. Have a good trip.
