A "luxury" mountain hut, both for the price and the services offered.
A family-friendly place, both for the surrounding trails and woods and the meadows surrounding the hut.
The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and very clean.
Excellent dinner and breakfast.
I also note the owners' willingness to lock up their two male dogs when we needed to go out with our dog.

Perhaps the most authentic mountain hut I've visited in Val di Sole. It can be reached by car. The food is good, homemade, and features a typical mountain hut menu. There's not much room to stretch out on the deckchairs, etc., but it's still pleasant. There are also donkeys and cows for the kids to see.

A spectacular mountain hut, super friendly staff, especially Giulia, the owner, a unique character, there are two beautiful rooms, I recommend dinner with an overnight stay, relaxation guaranteed!

I don't recommend arriving by car, the last stretch is very narrow and unpaved. They serve delicious dishes, from platters to polenta and so on. The staff is kind and helpful.

Malga Alta can be reached on foot or by car, with a permit from Malga Fazzon Bassa, near Caprioli Lake. Run by a talented group of young people, the kitchen offers both quick and more sophisticated solutions. Special mention for the tagliatelle and onion soup.

4 words: The food is amazing.
4 generous courses + beer = 52 euros
4 enormous buttered dumplings.
4 steps up from the Lago dei Caprioli lake, 4 steps down and back to the car.
Do 4 laps and you still won't have burned off the calories you ingested.
Maybe a session at the Marilleva 1400 weight room and a session of sess..ione will make a dent in your calorie intake... oh no... there's the Sacher torte from the "Renato" pastry shop on the way back...

The hike to the Malga from the parking lot is easy and short (about 45 minutes). The view is splendid. The food is very good and plentiful. The staff is extremely friendly, cheerful, and helpful. I recommend it.
