We had dinner at this place for the first time, everything was ok with the food. Unfortunately the service was not up to par, long waits and at the end we went to the cashier because no one came to close the dinner asking us if we wanted a coffee!!

Chosen thanks to the nice reviews and photos of the place seen on google maps and it was greatly appreciated by us too. Fantastic location, lunch in the shade and with a pleasant breeze. Top food: cesarina appetizer, tomato soup, tagliatelle with wild boar ragout and baked pork loin with apples. To finish, tiramisu and chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream. 2 glasses of Bolgheri red. Worthy!!! And after lunch we stayed a little longer to enjoy the view!

Always perfect. Impeccably chosen cured meats, totally extraordinary tagliatelle, divine roasted wild boar. A surprising rose wine and a red from Bolgheri that needs no further presentation. Very friendly service and great competence. We hope to return soon

Un po' come i tanti locali che hanno una location esclusiva: si avvantaggiano in partenza, poi scivolano un po' sulla qualità o sul prezzo. Qui il vantaggio all'inizio è grande, si perde qualcosa in corsa sia per il livello dei piatti proposti sia per i prezzi praticati. Vabbè, 4 ci può stare più di 3 :-)

12/01/2025: Modern and cozy considering the location. A bit cold the temperature but ok. We ordered several dishes. The crudité of raw shrimps and fish was very good. The gnocchi dish tasted little and the potato sauce doesn't make much sense (potatoes plus potatoes). Desserts were of a lower level. Wine served not well and too cold for a red. But I would definitely come back.
03/01/2025: Solitamente mi dilungo ma questa volta vorrei limitarmi a dire …. Semplicemente fantastico e super consigliato. Location molto particolare,fuori dagli schemi ma ,superate le prime perplessità vi tufferete in un’esperienza gastronomica veramente unica. Il bistrot offre la possibilità di apprezzare pietanze ricercate che non potranno che deliziare il vostro palato. Esperienza positiva che rifaremo sicuramente la prossima volta che ci troveremo in zona. A presto ed ancora complimenti!

29/12/2024: What can I say ? It’s 8 years I don’t live in Tuscany anymore so each year during Christmas I look forward to eat some local food from my region and here I found my new favourite restaurant. I would recommend it to anyone who is visiting Tuscany to come here ! The menu is pretty simply but each dish is so tasty and fresh . Nowadays it’s hard to find these places so I will definitely come back next year . We had starters , some pasta dishes and we finished with my favourite : Fiorentina steak ! The steak was tender like butter and I couldn’t get enough of it ! We had loads of wine to pair with the food and I can say the man who worked there was able to pair it perfectly with each dish . Customer service was excellent and I loved the decor of the room too ! I’m looking forward to my next dinner here when I come to Tuscany .
