My boyfriend and I had dinner at this wonderful place. We arrived at 9:00 pm, since it is June it is a great idea to enjoy a splendid sunset surrounded by greenery! We chose an appetizer with an excellent selection of cold cuts, cheeses and giardiniera. We continued with an exquisite pappa al pomodoro and a soup with onions, cheese and bread that was nothing short of amazing. Excellent value for money. Kind and friendly staff. Fast service. Worth it even just for the location! N.b. I recommend bringing a spray and/or insecticide as you are in the open countryside in a hilly area, especially until the sun goes down.

We stopped at this beautiful restaurant located in Castagneto Carducci surrounded by greenery and with a breathtaking view before going to Bolgheri. Large place with various rooms. We had lunch with two mixed appetizers, two pappardelle with wild boar, all washed down with a good Bolgheri red and to finish cantucci with vin santo. Friendly staff and normal prices.

Già dal parcheggio possiamo ammirare lo splendido panorama che circonda l’Agriristoro la Cesarina. Internamente rispecchia un tipico agriturismo toscano, stile rustico con pietre a vista. Let’s go!!! - Primi piatti: Tagliatelle al ragù di cinghiale. La pasta é fatta in casa, cottura al dente. Bravi anche nella preparazione del ragù, in quanto la selvaggina non è facile da trattare ed il rischio che abbia un sapore troppo forte é dietro l’angolo. Gnudi lardo e pecorino: molto buoni, belli compatti e per chi non ama particolarmente le verdure, con pochi spinaci all’interno. - Secondi piatti: Roast-beef con patate arrosto, piatto abbondante e buono. Faraona ripiena con mascarpone…PER NOI QUESTO PIATTO VALE IL VIAGGIO. Originale, un piacevole connubio di sapori! - Dolci: Torta di mele: porzione giusta e gusto piacevole. Panna cotta con caramello: non datela per scontata, semplice ma fa colpo come la ragazza della porta accanto. Il tutto accompagnato da un vino biologico della zona: Ferruggini dell’ Azienda agricola Chiappini. Il servizio è stato cordiale e gentile e non mancano le attenzioni per i commensali. Conto appropriato per la tipologia di ristorazione che propongono Ci rivedremo con la bella stagione!
