I visited this historic Castle thanks to the courtesy of the owners; the property is private but is periodically opened to the public for events and visits. The place is really very beautiful, the photos speak for themselves, and is made up of several parts built over the centuries. The oldest part is the central watchtower, which stands out among the Monferrato hills, visible from far away and dating back approximately to the 19th century. Then to the north a medieval part, gradually integrated by the beautiful and elegant Baroque facade with characteristic and precious staircase, embracing the Italian-style hanging garden. Delightful. The chapel is also characteristic and valuable, with a central plan, a valuable work by Ferroggio, a pupil of Juvarra. Then in the 19th century the architect. Bollati juxtaposes a vast neo-Gothic expansion wing to the south, which also very characterizes the imposing southern façade on 5 levels. To the north, a vast park of about 4 hectares which we did not visit, promising to return.
