14/11/2025: Francesca at Garden is one of those people who can turn a bad night into a story worth telling. Last night, the pizza chef was missing. Anywhere else, panic would have erupted, with sighs and awkward apologies. Not here.
Francesca reassured us, rolled up her sleeves with the air of someone who says, "Oh well, we'll take care of it," and the girl who works with her went to the oven without thinking. Two improvised pizza chefs, a lit oven, and that slightly comical, slightly heroic determination that makes you realize everything will be okay, even if you don't know how. And those pizzas... damn, they were delicious. The kind that make you think the love that goes into making certain things matters more than talent.
The place has a family atmosphere. It offers the kind of warmth that can't be bought or learned: you either have it or you don't. And Francesca has it, oh yes, she has it. Her smile is an invitation to surrender: you surrender to the idea that you're happy here, period.
Pizzeria Garden is the place where you come to eat and end up feeling part of the evening's story. A small theater of humanity, with an oven instead of a curtain and Francesca reminding you that, sometimes, home is simply where someone works hard to make you feel good.
10/11/2025: A family atmosphere, excellent pizzas, and a wonderful hostess. If you stop by the Garden, you're sure to find this. I recommend trying the Cudduruni: it's amazing!
