Agave In Treviglio

Excellent for both aperitifs and dinner. A very pleasant location, especially the portico in the internal courtyard. I recommend booking, especially on weekends.

Agave is a must-try, even for Treviglio locals like us. Alessandro's Mojito is a monument to a cocktail that, incredibly, no one knows how to make like it used to be, but here you'll be surprised by its flavor and freshness. A must-try for enjoying good Mexican food and truly great drinks. The Margarita is also recommended, as is the unmissable tapas dish, the "Companeros"!

Very nice and informal atmosphere, excellent Mexican menu accompanied by excellent sangria. Helpful and friendly staff, definitely recommended.

Over the weekend I visited the place with my boyfriend for an aperitif, eager to try a "Mexican" place given my Cuban origins. The first impressions were positive: quick service and friendly staff. The aperitif, at the cost of €7, was good overall. However, I would like to point out some aspects that could be improved, with a view to constructive criticism. First of all, it would be appropriate to pay more attention during table service: the drink was accidentally spilled on my back. Furthermore, the cloth provided for cleaning was not enough to completely remove the stain from the shirt. This episode, in addition to not making a good impression on me, also left my boyfriend, a professional restaurateur, perplexed. A second aspect to point out concerns the management of the tables: if a table has already been booked, I believe it is a duty to promptly inform the customers. In this case, despite the presence of two other free tables, we were only informed during the aperitif, while we were engaged in a conversation with other friends, that our stay at the table had to be limited. My question, at this point, is inevitable: was the request to free the table motivated by my presence as a black girl or by the real need to assign it to other customers? Considering the availability of other tables, I would like to have a clarification on this matter. My boyfriend, who is Italian, was particularly upset by this situation and, if it were up to him, he would not have assigned the place even one star. In all my years of traveling throughout Italy, as an athlete, I had never had a similar experience. I would like to keep a positive attitude and think that it was just a misunderstanding.

Ottimo locale in centro a Treviglio, tranquillo. Location veramente molto carina, sopratutto la parte esterna situata all'interno di un antico cortile. Personale molto cortese. Cibo buono, abbondante. Cena molto piacevole. Non è la prima volta che vengo in questo locale, sempre ottimo🥰
