First visit to Campobasso, we decide to have lunch in this very nice restaurant-style restaurant. The menu is extensive with Molise specialties. I tried the cacio e pepe with bacon which was to my liking. The desserts are very good. Good price.

House The title tells you that above all we felt at home. We went here 01-11-24 for lunch after booking the day before. We recommend booking because the place is small and certainly always full. The welcome was pleasant and the friendliness of all the staff including the kitchen is an example for all the places in the world. We asked to take a photo of the kitchen and the lady immediately made everyone stop and they even posed, everyone having fun and laughing. We were too pleased with their simplicity. Let's get to lunch: we had a pea cream soup with chicory, pecorino flakes and croutons, then troccoli, cheese, pepper and bacon. For the second course: boiled cod fillet with oven-cooked black olives and a slice of scottona with rocket, parmesan flakes and fresh cherry tomatoes then a plate of fried potatoes, two glasses of wine, a water for a total of €70.00 in two. Don't be surprised at the price because it was money well spent because everything was sublime and cooked with care despite the simplicity of the kitchen managed by the lady who is the mother of the chef and the gentleman who welcomes you and who is at the checkout.
