I had the pleasure of dining with my family today at this typical Campobasso restaurant, and the experience was overall very positive, with a few minor reservations. The real star was the food: traditional, authentic cuisine that showcases the flavors of Molise. Every dish we ordered was excellent, prepared with fresh ingredients and, no small thing, with a mastery that was evident at first bite. It's hard to find a flaw in the taste and preparation, which deserve top marks. The only thing that dampened our enthusiasm was the ratio between portion size and price. We found the portions served a bit skimpy (compared to the standards we're used to) compared to the asking price, especially for a typical trattoria. We felt that, despite eating very well, we didn't leave feeling as full as we'd expect. ​ ​In conclusion, if you're looking for authentic quality and traditional flavor, this place is perfect. The flavors are worth the trip. However, if you're really hungry, consider the portion size. ​Despite the note about the portions, the freshness and deliciousness of the food still make us highly recommend it!

A fairly anonymous place but with lots of friendliness and excellent flavours

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant in Campobasso. The food was truly delicious, each dish well-prepared and generous. The staff was very attentive and responsive to the customers' needs, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The simple but beautiful setting and terrace offer a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The service was fast but never rushed, allowing us to fully enjoy the meal. We enjoyed four courses, accompanied by wine, two digestifs, and a coffee. All for a more than reasonable price (see photo). In short, a wonderful discovery that I highly recommend!

Trattoria tipica, brace con carboni nella cucina, che rende la cottura nella carne super gustosa. Eravamo un gruppo di amici amanti nella buona carne, e che dire.. gustarla cucinata sui carboni è stato appagante, raro da trovare, ormai quasi tutti i ristoranti hanno solo piastre. Abbiamo iniziato con un po' di antipasti, carpaccio di baccalà condito con olio é pepe rosa, ottimo consiglio del titolare, fiori zucca fritti fatti da loro con burrata, ed una caponata fresca, servita su delle friselle. A seguire, agnello, torcinelli (involtini tipici della zona) fegato con la rezza, e delle succulenti bistecche, con quel gusto che solo i carboni possono esaltare, contorni di verdure di campo. Una di noi vegetaria ha trovato anche una diversità di proposte, adatte alle sue esigenze. Vino rosato molisano cantine D'Uva. Prezzo nella media 34 euro a testa. Locale minimal e ordinato, con una piccola zona esterna dove cenare, vicinissimo alla zona pedonale, personale gentile ed amichevole. Consigliato.

Ho avuto il piacere di cenare in questo ristorante e sono rimasta davvero soddisfatta. L'atmosfera è accogliente e il locale è ben curato, ideale per una serata tranquilla. Il cibo è eccellente: piatti freschi, ben preparati e con un ottimo equilibrio di sapori. Il servizio è stato rapido e cortese, con il personale sempre disponibile a consigliarci. I prezzi sono giusti per la qualità offerta. Consiglio assolutamente questo ristorante e tornerò sicuramente!
