A wonderful place, combined with a fitting spiritual atmosphere. The overall concept is harmonious! The price for an overnight stay is more than fair. I would gladly return anytime.

A beautiful monastery on the mountain, with a church, museum, shop, and café for a quick bite. Wonderful peace and quiet, and a place to rejuvenate the soul. Plenty of parking too. I highly recommend it!

Marienberg Monastery is situated on a mountain and is an imposing complex of buildings. Its white facades radiate into the landscape, making it impossible to miss. The complex includes the convent building, the monastery church, a monastery shop, a museum, a library, and a restaurant. The monastery church, with its ornate furnishings, is particularly worth seeing. There is a small parking lot nearby. The entrances are largely barrier-free. A place of faith, prayer, and art. Highly recommended.

Book a visit to the crypt online; it's a must-see. Guided tours only. It's a shame you can't take photos. The excellently preserved 12th-century Romanesque frescoes testify to the historical importance of the Venosta Valley in Europe for 900 years. The well-curated "ora et labora" museum is full of videos and multimedia stations. The two beautiful original bronze lions holding the rings for opening the church door are truly stunning.

Beautifully situated with a magnificent view of the valley. Highly recommended. The monastery invites you to linger and relax. A very good café with a great selection of food and drinks.

We stayed here for 4 nights on a B&B basis. It was a unique experience, which I recommend to everyone, even couples, even though all the rooms except one are single.

Building overlooking the Venosta Valley. For visits, I recommend calling first because we went in the afternoon around 3pm and they were not available, a shame because the photos of the crypt are really beautiful.

Very interesting and well-organized. The souvenir shop and cafe, while very nice, are a bit pricey. The building is imposing and beautiful, both from the valley floor and from within. Its historical charm is remarkable.
