20/07/2025: My wife and I went there tonight. The spicy mussels with pepper sauce was delicious, with a fabulous sauce that was just the right amount of spicy. The mixed fried fish and mixed grill were superb. The courtesy, kindness, and helpfulness of the owners and staff helped make the evening truly special. Highly recommended, we will definitely be back.
19/07/2025: The location is beach-style, but it's actually on a sliver of a public beach. The tables are truly beautiful, practically right on the seafront.
It was sold out, but I managed to book a Saturday dinner reservation thanks to the kindness of a member of staff and the chef.
We arrived promptly at 7:30 PM.
There were four of us, no wait.
After five minutes, they brought us the menus, and after 15 minutes, a very friendly and smiling redheaded woman in her 50s came to take our orders. Luckily, the options weren't overwhelming.
4/5 appetizers, 3/4 first courses, 3/4 second courses.
We ordered 1 peppered mussel, 1 spicy red mussel, 1 squid, avocado, and celery salad, and 1 fresh spaghetti (guitar-style) with clams, to start.
Then 1 fried calamari, 1 mixed fried calamari (calamari, prawns, anchovies), 1 more spaghetti with clams, and 1 spaghetti with seafood.
Everything was so fresh and delicious.
The fried foods were prepared in fresh oil (and I'm telling you this as someone who has a bit of a liver problem and can tell at first taste if the frying oil is stale).
The first courses were excellent and incredibly generous (perhaps a little too much, but perfect as a main course).
All accompanied by a cold Pigato della Riviera Ligure (Le Creuze) with its own ice bucket.
The staff were extremely kind and attentive (Ligurians have changed a lot in the last ten years, for the better).
2 bottles of water, 1 coffee.
I paid about 50 euros each.
I highly recommend it, it's really good.
P.S. After 3 hours, no stomach discomfort, everything digested.
