A very pleasant discovery! Wandering around the alleys of Diamante made us discover this beautiful place recently opened and expertly run by chef Marco who returned to Calabria after experiences in the north and in Germany.
After a first and excellent dinner à la carte we decide to return and Marco prepares for us a fabulous off-menu with raw red prawns, spaghetti with clams, a caught sea bream and good local wine. If you like to eat well this is the place for you!

Together with my father I visited this beautiful restaurant during our holiday. The food was delicious - everything was fresh and prepared with care. The service was also excellent: friendly and attentive. In addition, the prices were very pleasant, especially considering the quality you get. We really enjoyed it and will definitely come back! Excellent fish dishes made with excellent raw materials. Attentive service, present but discreet. Kind and friendly owner Marco who talks about his restaurant with the passion that comes from years of experience abroad. Fair price. I highly recommend it.

An authentic Calabrian experience in the heart of Diamante
I was absolutely thrilled with this restaurant! The food is outstanding – you can taste the high-quality ingredients, and the selection of Calabrian specialties leaves nothing to be desired. I was particularly impressed by the authentic, old-Italian ambiance – it fits perfectly with the charming old town of Diamante, where the restaurant is located.
A big compliment also to the friendly owner and chef, Marco – you can feel the passion that goes into the cooking and working here.
All in all: highly recommended!

Authentic Calabrian cuisine – a real insider tip in Diamante!
A wonderful little restaurant with a big personality! At A' Cucchiarella da Marco, you immediately sense the love for traditional Calabrian cuisine. The dishes are fresh, hearty, and full of flavor – the pasta with 'nduja and the homemade antipasti were a particular highlight.
Marco is a warm-hearted host who personally welcomes his guests and serves them with passion. The atmosphere is informal, cozy, and typically southern Italian – you immediately feel at home.

Strolling among the beautiful murals of Diamante, we found ourselves in front of the 'a cucchiarella restaurant. We entered a little hesitantly, since there was no one there (but that's normal - June during the week....). The owner and chef immediately welcomed us like old customers, making us feel at ease. He then guided us in our choices and we really enjoyed every dish. Compliments also to the waiting staff, always attentive and ready for our every request. Keep it up!

Sono venuto ben due volte e tutte e due le volte era pieno. Incuriosito, mi sono detto: qui evidentemente si mangia davvero bene, e cosi dopo aver prenotato sono finalmente riuscito a trovare posto, è stata una vera sorpresa. Piatti curatissimi, sapori originali ma equilibrati, atmosfera calda e accogliente. Ma la cosa che fa davvero la differenza è Marco, il proprietario e chef, che non solo cucina, ma gira tra i tavoli, si assicura che tutto stia andando bene e racconta con passione ogni piatto da lui creato e proposto. Una presenza rara e preziosa. Consiglio solo una cosa: prenotate perché rischiate seriamente di rimanere fuori. Qualità / prezzo top.

Delizioso, nuovo ristorante a Diamante, situato nel suo centro storico. Si mangia benissimo grazie allo chef e titolare Marco, simpatico e cordiale. Pesce fresco, piatti innovativi, ottimi vini del territorio. Per chi va a Diamante è una tappa obbligata. Onesto il rapporto qualità/prezzo.
