Cariati is a Calabrian village definitely worth a visit: charming and vibrant, with its murals depicting scenes of daily life and tradition. Strolling through its streets is an evocative experience in itself. We dined at one of the village restaurants, where we enjoyed an excellent sardines first course and a truly exquisite grilled fresh fish. We didn't try the appetizers, but judging by their appearance, they're definitely worth it and a good reason to return. The village atmosphere, combined with the quality of the local cuisine and the many restaurants that enliven the historic center, make Cariati a must-see destination for those who want to discover the authentic flavors of Calabria. ---

In addition to the wonderful setting, the staff is always friendly, courteous, and professional. The food is excellent and full of traditional flavors. The atmosphere, with great music, good food, good wine, and a smiling staff, makes every evening special.
