The one at 3 frogs was not a simple lunch, but an all-round experience both of the senses and from a human point of view. Few tables, well-finished and original dishes, in an atmosphere that is anything but pretentious. Maurizio in the kitchen and Giovanni in the dining room are a formidable team. Passion, care and culture... in short, the thought behind the project goes into every detail. We will never be grateful enough to our friends from Lecce for offering us this as the first stop to discover Lecce. We will definitely return, certain of feeling at home.

We had the 8 course meal and let the chef decide what he wanted to serve us. All dishes were very tasty and impressed us with their taste. The service is also particularly positive because, even though he was alone, he did a great job. We felt very comfortable.
But: We had a glass of Prosecco which was included with the menu and then ordered a bottle of this Prosecco. Turns out it was a wholesale product. This is initially legitimate and there is nothing wrong with offering it in combination with the menu. The fact that we were charged 30 euros for this bottle, which can be purchased for around 4 euros, is an outrage... The restaurant doesn't need this. Unfortunately, after a nice meal there is a bad aftertaste... What a shame...

Fantastic price point, value, and innovation for a creative meal where you choose your own menu and how many dishes you want to order. Waiter was friendly and spoke Italian and English. On the day I went, I had their sea bream tartare with asparagus and Pugliese peanuts, the fresh egg taglierini (so tasty) with meat ragu, the carnaroli risotto with fennel stock and baby calamari, and the octopus with paprika sauce, as well as a few other dishes. For 6 dishes, table service, and a welcome prosecco, the bill was 60 euros. The chef even came out to say hi and how he didnt want to be too pretentious. Highly recommend for the value and quality of the meal over and above the norm in Lecce.

A place to feel at ease. Far from the famous guides, which you will find in the bathroom anyway, it offers intelligent cuisine, revisiting classic dishes and flavors in an elegant way, revolutionizing flavors and textures. The octopus I ate with sweet potatoes reminded me of pulpo a la gallega and patatas bravas. Impeccable service. Ridiculous prices. Perhaps the only reason to return to Lecce.

Probably the best restaurant I’ve ever been to in my life. I’m from NYC and have traveled around the world. Tre Rane stands out as number one. A refined menu of the most creative, mouth watering flavor and texture combinations. Incredible service. Unpretentious beautiful atmosphere. We got the poached egg appetizer, white ragu pasta, squid and ricotta tart. Everything was heavenly. Please come to this restaurant. It is worth flying all the way to Lecce for.

I was not expecting the quality of meal we got at 3 Rane…
Final night in Lecce and we’d had pretty good food the whole time but I fancied something a bit more special on our last night.
This place is really tiny so best to book if you can but we got seated ok.
There’s one front of house guy who does everything and it can be a little slow when first seated but you’re not here for fast food, right - just enjoy the experience… once our order for the 10 course tasting menu was in, the dishes flowed smoothly and we were totally in awe of everything presented to us.
You don’t have to have 10 courses - you can have 4, 6 or 8 or you can eat a la carte but you basically just pick your tastings off the a la carte - albeit a much smaller version…
There’s no way I could choose only 4 off the menu - I just wanted to try everything.
The chef works alone, front of house works alone but boy, do they deliver!
Don’t go to Lecce and not pay this place a visit.

Delicious organic and local food - started with a tasting of black lentils and apricots with warm bread. Had a 4 tasting menu - the poached egg and potato, octopus and tiramisu were delicious- served with a sparkling green wine. Small restaurant- about 5-6 tables so very intimate setting - so good to make a reservation or go early.
