Locale caldo e carino. Personale puntuale e gentile. Primi top, secondi e antipasti non da meno. Ottimi i dolci. Prezzi adeguati, forse il vino un pó caro ( calice 7 euro, bottiglia a 19 euro come minimo)

An excellent experience that was already announced by the scent upon entering. Excellent food and generous portions, very fresh seafood crudités, perfect service and waiting times. We will definitely be back to try the other dishes and even the land ones, but for the fish I vote with praise. It is not so easy and obvious to eat fish of this quality and at these prices in Liguria. Compliments to the chef.

As of December 13, 2024, things have changed a lot and not for the better. The menu offers less tasty dishes and their quality has definitely dropped. They served what were supposed to be calamari skewers but they were micro-skewers (almost certainly frozen and fried) absolutely inedible. Same thing for fried fish Rec of 2023: Very fresh fish, prepared with great skill. Nice and welcoming place, super service, prices very appropriate for the quality offered

I was there a few days ago, they are always the best I go there using offers on the fork app, the place is very nice, the staff is super friendly and helpful, the food is delicious SUPER RECOMMENDED

I ate very well, very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Consistent quality-price ratio. The only flaw: the outdoor room where they put us was quite cold and they didn't know how to heat it so we had to wear a jacket for the entire duration of the dinner. For this reason alone I don't give 5 stars. For the rest, recommended!

Non è la prima volta che vado a cena dal Cantinone, non mi ha mai delusa. Tutti i piatti sono davvero buoni, ma quelli che preferisco di più sono i primi. Spesso hanno piatti del giorno fuori menù, probabilmente in base al pesce che riescono a trovare in giornata. Atmosfera tranquilla, adatta sia ad una cena romantica che ad una cena con amici. Ci tornerò sicuramente.

20/03/2025: What a wonderful, beautiful place. My husband is celiac, vegetarian,and they have handmade pasta, gluten free with walnut sauce. He even received a gluten free bun. I had a steak, cooked perfectly with homemade chips. The staff was very kind and helpful. This was a great find. The history of the building made it even more enjoyable.
09/03/2025: 5-star restaurant in the heart of Genoa which, although it is called a trattoria, offers excellent and well-prepared dishes. Perfect for a dinner with family, friends or for two. Many gluten-free options including pansoti, mixed fried food and desserts. Informal but satisfying, attentive and pleasant service. We ate very well, everything was delicious but the tuna really had something special. Very generous portions and excellent prices for what we ate. For the very colorful presentation, it reflects exactly what one expects. The cheesecake was great and the chocolate cake too!! That even though they were gluten-free, you couldn't feel the difference in any way. The environment is pleasant, not chaotic, relaxed, welcoming and also intimate enough, quiet to spend a relaxing moment without too much mess. We will definitely return for a next trip to Genoa. Highly recommended!

13/10/2024: We went on a hiking trip with BUND. 13 in total and one tour guide. Rooms are getting old Everything is available, unfortunately no table Storage for suitcases on the balcony, only one chair in the room and one seat. Since hiking during the day, just a rainy day, this was removable. The tasty 4-course menu is worth mentioning. Several to choose from every day. Located just under 5 minutes from the train station.
28/09/2024: We spent our 2 week vacation at Villa Argentina at the end of June and beginning of July 2024. This was our third time at Villa Argentina and we were very satisfied every time. The hotel is a little gem and just a few steps from the center with the restaurants and the beach. Everything is very well maintained, the rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The staff is very nice and helpful. The garden around the hotel is beautiful and well maintained. If you're thinking of a leisurely holiday, Moneglia is a good place to go. The people are friendly and there are several options to eat. The beaches are well maintained and the water is very clean. It has a fairly large proportion of free beaches. There is a train station in Moneglia from where various other beautiful bays, places worth seeing (e.g. Chiavari or Sestri Levante), but also the places of the Cinque Terre can be easily reached by train.
