We stopped into this great little bar to kill a couple hours before we could check into our B&B. Had a few cocktails, a delicious salad and nice conversation with the gentlemen working. When we were ready, they offered to drive us up the hill to the place. Nice! We asked for a souvenir and they gave us these cool glasses.

Wow just wow!!! Do not go by this place without eating here. Absolutely sensational! Service, location, wine and most importantly the food was to die for!! We have been travelling Italy for 10 weeks and this is up there with one of our favourites by far! Absolute asset to Varenna!!!

A good experience at the restaurant. The lasagna was delicious and the food arrived quickly. The server was very friendly and we were able to pay by credit card.

The best spritz on the lake! This charming rustic-style tavern is full of character and totally worth the visit. We were warmly welcomed by Augusto, a true polyglot with a great sense of humor — our conversation with him made the experience even more enjoyable. We’ll definitely be coming back.

04/07/2025: I stopped for breakfast, cappuccino and brioche, all very good! The place itself is small but has numerous outdoor tables. When I went it was very crowded, but the staff handled it very well. If you need the services they are there but you have to ask for the key and walk to the end of the adjacent alley.
02/06/2025: The best pastry shop in Lecco and its province, unparalleled brioches (many variations, including vegan ones) as well as cakes (chocolate and pears and superlative fruit tart as well as the classic San Martino and autumn cakes) and pastries. Very friendly and super efficient staff. Our favorite pastry shop.
