I only ate the tuna tartare which was good, I should go back to possibly add a star to the food section. I went today for lunch and there were two of us. I don't argue about the price of the dishes even though at lunch with the same quality you can find many places with lower prices for first courses, but 10 euros for a cover charge, 7 euros for 2 coffees and 5 euros for a 75ml bottle of water made me feel a bit bad... honestly I think they are excessive...

This is a restaurant that far exceeded expectations. Upon arrival, we discovered it has been awarded Michelin stars for five consecutive years. We chose the 100 euro special wine pairing menu, which offered exceptional value for money - I highly recommend trying it. The owner was very welcoming and patiently explained each dish and wine pairing.
Our special discovery in the city of Genoa!
This restaurant – of Michelin quality – offers exceptional service and top dishes at very fair prices. You wouldn't say it from the outside, but what you experience and taste inside is truly of a high standard.
I was pleasantly surprised. Okay, you pay €10 for the service, but we have come across that at several restaurants in Liguria.
The Michelin chef here is truly a gem – you can see and taste that in every dish.
I am sure that the Czech chef Zdeněk Pohlreich of Ano, šéfe! would be very pleased and grateful that you can offer such a culinary experience, exactly as it should be in this industry.

It was very pleasant. I'd love to come back.
I had already been here with a friend booking with the fork, I really liked it so as soon as I accumulated the Yums needed to get a €50 discount I went back!
Everything is very good, refined, they welcome you with a welcome plate (vegetarian so even if someone has a dietary requirement they can eat it, however they ask if you have allergies or food intolerances), breadsticks, focaccia and cocoa bread are delicious... The service is very competent and attentive, they also have a nice wine list and are good at advising... Poor things, we stayed until almost midnight, closing time, chatting, they still left us alone... The prices are a bit expensive but absolutely in line with the quality, on the other hand it is Michelin-rated. With the fork discount, a decidedly low price for what you received!!
Only curiosity, they don't accept Yums as payment on Tuesdays (which is one of my free evenings, I had to wait to be free another evening), even though it's not closed and the 20% discount is still applied, I didn't understand why 🤔
Following the response to the review, I contacted The Fork who replied "We found that the restaurant in question has chosen to limit the use of Yums points on Tuesdays for the entire year. This is a condition expressly requested by the restaurant itself and defined in the contract it has stipulated with us."
I wanted to book today (Tuesday 29/4), unfortunately in the past few days I hadn't been able to have human contact with The Fork, calling the restaurant I was told that the person who takes care of The Fork is not there this week, if there is the will to allow the use of Yums also on Tuesdays, I hope it can be resolved.
Last edit: now I have managed to book with Yums also on Tuesdays :)

Nice place in the historic center of Genoa near Palazzo Ducale. Good welcome and accommodation. Menu not with too many items which is all in favor of quality, so excellent choice. Good wine list with suggestions from the staff. We chose two first courses, namely a spaghettone (off the menu) cacio e pepe with fresh shrimp tartare, and plin-type ravioli with Ligurian rabbit filling. Continued with two calamari grilled on potato foam and spinach mousse, really excellent. We couldn't resist the desserts so we chose their idea of the krapfen... I would say ulro 👌👌.. and a decomposed tart with fresh fruit and custard.. fabulous. Excellent experience, polite and kind staff, possibility of using the accumulated yums for reserved discounts. In short, to return to try new proposals... BRAVI!!!
