A very particular path and truly natural ingredients.

Enchanting place perfectly hidden behind a door.
A few tables, jazz music, chefs in sight... I literally fell in love with it.
We decided to do the tasting tour and let them tell us the story of each dish.
It was a unique experience that has rightfully made 1Q84 one of our favorite places. We will definitely be back

One of those rare places where you don't just eat but have a real culinary experience. Really top in everything. Sophisticated, refined...in short, not to be missed; obviously, but it is also right that it is like this, not for all budgets.

It's difficult for me to rate this time, so I'll try to describe the evening as best I can.
I have very little experience with tasting menus because the budget, let's say, isn't within everyone's reach.
This is the third time I've tried kaiseki cuisine, first in Milan and then in Miyajima, and I must say that this time it was a haute cuisine dinner, more than a traditional one.
You can see the careful study of the dishes, the combination of flavors, and the passion of the people who work there. And this is what I'd like to focus on above all else.
We went with a little one who just wouldn't calm down. They told us not to worry and that it was normal. However, we preferred to move to a smaller but more private room and we were alone. They didn't give us any problems.
They gave us two sake samples, one junmai and the other with spectacular plums.
Overall, it was a delicious and beautiful dinner, but above all, a warm welcome. We, who were feeling a bit uncomfortable with the little one's whining, were welcomed without any problems, which is a significant plus.
I've never tasted Glacier 51 in my life, a sensational dish.
Just one piece of advice, if I may. We had fish croquettes, the name of which I can't remember right now. The herb breading was too strong for the fish inside, and I couldn't really taste it.
I feel like it's a place serving authentic Japanese cuisine, with a great deal of experience behind it that I think could easily compete with the much-coveted Michelin-starred restaurant.
Thank you.

Excellent venue, high-quality food, and courteous service from all the staff. Chef Izumi, a true Japanese, comes to your table to ask how things are going or to present a special dish, everything is carefully planned down to the smallest detail. It's definitely more expensive than a Chinese restaurant serving Japanese food, but when you think about it, if you go to a cheap all-you-can-eat restaurant six times a year, it's better to go here twice a year and eat properly.

A sublime experience, impeccable food, and excellent service. We were treated to a lovely bottle of white wine. The owner is incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and passionate, and we were truly delighted to experience kaiseki cuisine of this quality. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back.
