Lovely place hidden perfectly behind a door.
Few tables, jazz music, chef on sight... I literally fell in love with it.
We decided to do the tasting journey and let the story of each dish be told to us.
It was a unique experience that made 1Q84 rightfully one of our favorite places. We will definitely be back

One of those rare places where you don't just eat but have a real culinary experience. Really top in everything. Sophisticated, refined...in short, not to be missed; obviously, but it is also right that it is like this, not for all budgets.

This time it is difficult for me to give a score and I will try to describe the evening as best as possible.
I really have too little experience in tasting menus because the budget, let's say, is not within everyone's reach.
It is the third time that I have tasted kaiseki cuisine, first in Milan and then in Miyajima and I must say that this time it was a haute cuisine dinner rather than a traditional one.
You can see the study of the dishes, the combination of flavors and the passion of the people who work there. And I would like to talk about this above all.
We went with a little one who just didn't want to calm down. They told us not to worry and that it was normal. However, we preferred to move to a smaller but more private room and we were alone. They didn't cause us any problems.
They gave us two samples of sake, one junmai and the other with spectacular plums.
Overall, a good and beautiful dinner but above all a great welcome and we, who felt a little uncomfortable due to the little one's complaints, were welcomed without problems and this is a significant plus.
Glacier 51 never tasted in my life, a sensational dish.
Just one piece of advice, if I may. We ate some fish croquettes, the name of which unfortunately I don't remember at the moment, which had a herb breading that in my opinion was too strong for the fish inside and I couldn't taste the flavor well.
I feel like judging it as a place of authentic Japanese cuisine, with a great studio behind it that I think can easily enter the world of the much coveted starred restaurants.
Thank you

Excellent venue, high quality food and courtesy from all the staff. Chef Izumi, a true Japanese, comes to the table to ask how things are going or to present some particular dish, all taken care of down to the smallest detail. The whole thing is decidedly more expensive than a Chinese restaurant that serves Japanese cuisine, but in the end, if you think about it, if you go to a cheap all-you-can-eat restaurant 6 times a year, it's better to go here 2 times a year but eat as you would must.

Sublime experience, impeccable food and excellent service. Honored by a nice bottle of white wine, the owner is incredibly kind, cultured and passionate and we were really happy to try kaiseki cuisine of this quality. Highly recommended, we will definitely return

On Saturday evening my girlfriend and I return for the second time to this splendid restaurant: a classy and refined place. We opt for a prawn tempura as a starter, continue with different types of uramaki, a portion of futomaki, a mix of nigiri and finally a dessert. Practically unattainable in terms of raw materials, combinations and preparation. The owner's welcome and professionalism were disarming. After having tried several sushi bars both in Naples and beyond, I can confidently say that for me 1q84 is the best, hands down. Account in good standing with experience. We will definitely be back!
