I stumbled upon it by chance on a Sunday between Christmas and New Year's Eve. The location is just steps from Via del Corso and Via Condotti. The interior is warm and welcoming. The food (at least what I tasted) is good and well-executed, and the prices are in the medium-high range.

Beautiful place in the center of Rome. Sergio, the wonderful owner. Top-notch Roman pasta. A gricia from another era. Very welcoming atmosphere just steps from a stroll in the center of Rome.

Before sitting down at this elegant and typical restaurant, I must have read a dozen reviews... although some were negative, I had the feeling that they were mostly written by tourists who honestly know very little about food... and it was confirmed! As a TRUE Italian, I can confirm that the quality of the food was supreme, everything excellent... extremely kind owners and nothing else to add. Just a big WOW!! 🤩🤍 Thanks again and LONG LIVE ITALIAN FOOD 🇮🇹

My wife and I ate here today, 30 Nov 25, and the food was absolutely fantastic. Lovely atmosphere and fine service. Really happy to have found here on our last night in Rome. Thank you!

A trattoria in the heart of Rome, yet slightly out of the way, allowing you to dine in peace. The owner, Sergio, is a true Roman, engaging you with his warmth and making you feel right at home. The food was even better than other more polished and expensive restaurants. They truly treated us like family. There were nine of us, so we practically tried the entire menu, and it was impeccable.

11/01/2026: Very good and refined food Friendly staff and clean environment I'm not giving it 5 stars because two main courses at €50 are expensive.
08/11/2025: The first thing I noticed as soon as I entered after a few years of not coming is the renovation of the place, which, in my opinion, has made the osteria lose its character. Now it feels half elegant restaurant, half osteria: for example, some of the chairs are modern, others are classic straw chairs. I'm also struck by the fact that, on a Saturday night, there are only three of us, whereas in the past the place was full. While waiting for the other diners, we went to the bathroom and found both the women's and men's bathrooms dirty: they definitely hadn't been cleaned before the evening, given that there were five people at the tables before us. The dishes served promptly were good, and the first courses were plentiful. The prices are a bit high for an osteria: appetizers €11-12, first courses €13-14, desserts €7, a bottle of house wine €14. Parking is a bit of a problem... only along the street (Via di Pietralata) with some spaces that aren't exactly regular.

06/08/2025: Very disappointing, Location has changed so it’s no longer near the castle. The food was medium! The carbonara was unbeatable, they burnt the bacon so bad that it gave the whole dish a bitter burnt fat taste. The Cacio e Pepe was swimming in Parmesan cream with almost no Pepe and very “commercial”. The lam was fatty and salty with some nice bites The courgette flowers tasted like mozzarella sticks with ( a lot of) anchovies Some good things, The eggplant Parmesan was nice, good sauce and full of eggplant taste! The dough for the fried pizza special was delicious. There’s some nice potential there and the owner and staff were trying very hard to accommodate but the kitchen is just not good enough Sorry guys , Very disappointing We didn’t finish three of the dishes and left with no desert
13/07/2025: Staff are good but long time for waiting especially if you order pizza, we waited for approximately more than 40 minutes for the pizza.
