13/12/2025: An enchanting experience, especially during the Christmas season. We were welcomed by Chef Matteo and his staff as if we were guests in their own home. From the crispy focaccia on the outside and soft on the inside, we moved on to panettone with zabaglione, passing through excellent dishes served like kings (bean and lobster soup, pumpkin tortelli, truffle and duck risotto). We received a small gift from the chef at the end of the evening. Congratulations, we'll be back!!!

13/12/2025: Our evening at the Embassy was a journey through flavors that tell a story. Six of us shared the Renaissance Menu, a succession of dishes evoking tradition, elegance, and memory. Chef Matteo, with his kind and sincere presence, added a human touch that made each course even more meaningful. The impeccable and attentive service guided us discreetly. 21/11/2025: A delightful restaurant, welcoming service, and an excellent selection of traditional Mantuan cuisine, prepared with meticulous attention to detail and using top-quality ingredients. The wine list is basic, perhaps in need of expansion, but still offers a few small surprises. It was a very pleasant experience, definitely worth repeating.

23/11/2025: My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary last night. From the moment we walked in, we were pampered. We've never felt this way. The food was extraordinary, the service exceptional from all the staff. We had the 7-course tasting menu and it was amazing. Then, when we found out about the anniversary, they gave us a surprise at the end of the dinner. Dining here was an unforgettable experience. We'll do it again.

01/12/2025: We were in Mantua a week ago (a truly beautiful city) and discovered this place where everything is top-notch, from the food to the staff. It's a place where you not only eat well but also feel at ease. A special mention goes to Tosca, who is both professional and friendly. Highly recommended, excellent value for money.

02/11/2025: Small and welcoming atmosphere. The food was very good, a lovely memory of lunch before we hit the road again. Competitive prices for the area, exceptional quality. The only drawback is the very small space and the bathroom, which is inconvenient and outside the dining room.

30/11/2025: What can I say?! The tavern isn't the best looking! Inside, there's a lot of junk hanging from the ceiling, not very high (your head almost brushes against it as you walk past). It's a typical farmhouse restaurant that's been RESTORED AS A TAVERN. We even have tables in the hallway, which seems a bit special. BUT THAT'S THE WHAT'S THE DISADVANTAGE! Customer abandonment during ordering, with staff coming and going with dishes, and some yelling at each other, blaming each other 😥... I came in with a reservation at 1:00 PM. At 1:05 PM, they seated me at the table at 1:40 PM, after some waiters' oversights with the rush of dishes. I stopped the first course and explained that NO ONE HAS TAKEN THE ORDER YET!!! A few minutes later, at 1:42 PM, a young man arrives to take the order. The delivery time for the first course is 1:55 PM....given the wait, and in any case, PLENTY OF DISHES, excellent MANTUAN cuisine. I didn't order the second course due to the wait. Should I recommend....GIVEN THE SERVICE....AND THE ORGANIZATION NEEDS IMPROVEMENT....

12/11/2025: A restaurant with very nice rooms. They offer a lunch menu, but forget about the midday crowds. If you're having someone over, you'll definitely make a good impression. High quality and reasonable prices. Recommended.

13/11/2025: Second evening in Mantua, second dinner, and second good experience. Two appetizers: stewed snails and artichoke tart. Two first courses: risotto alla pilota and bigoli al torchio. A second course of... fried frogs, since the restaurant has them in its name. Half a liter of red wine and water. All very good.

09/11/2025: We waited 20 minutes in line only to be told there was no room. We understand this, given that it was 1:30 PM on a Sunday without a reservation, but they could have informed us immediately. So we can't tell you if the food was good, but the service was lacking in customer service.

19/10/2025: My husband and I went to eat at this restaurant, where we'd been before and had fond memories. I was unpleasantly surprised by how the quality had declined, not only in the food but also in the service: the wait was incredibly long, the main courses didn't even arrive because they hadn't written down the order, the waiters showed no interest, and the quality of the food was questionable. I hope that in the future this restaurant can return to being the elegant and refined place I once knew.

06/12/2025: We went here on the recommendation of the owner of a B and B in Mantua. It did not disappoint. The squash amaretti ravioli were truly a Mantuan specialty. Wine selection was outstanding and service excellent. My spouse had the stracotto which he rated as a 10 out of 10. So glad we made our way to this lovely restaurant.
