26/05/2025: I had always heard about this restaurant ... this time for my wife's birthday I wanted to surprise him .. we had dinner with the fish menu each course was an authentic mix of flavors and each bite an emotion that the palate sent to the brain I don't want to exaggerate but believe me you have to try ... the excellent wines from the Tento as an aperitif to the still white recommended to me by the very smart guy who served us in short a fantastic evening certainly the cost is a little high but it's worth it every bit .. I will definitely return ...

23/06/2025: Very welcoming place, very kind and prepared staff, excellent quality of raw materials and it is reflected in the dishes. Very interesting menu and with many typical proposals of the area. From appetizers to desserts each dish has a care and a truly excellent taste! Also the wines of the area are very good. Very honest also the quality/price ratio. Super super recommended. I came back for the second time because the first one had already impressed me!

13/07/2025: A restaurant with exceptionally high-quality waiter service. Elegant and respectful, we felt fantastically well-cared for. The dishes were presented in a modern style, with an interesting combination of flavors, and melt-in-your-mouth dishes (we especially recommend the faraona, capon, tortelli di zucca, and chitarra mediteranea). Plus, there were side dishes between the menus, such as puff pastry rolls with salt, sbrisolona, olive oil, and mini desserts. We visited twice during our stay in Mantua, and if the opportunity arises, we will definitely return.

06/07/2025: Every detail was perfectly attended to. The food was the best we’ve had in Italy. We would definitely drive an hour to eat here again. Also there is a medium sized parking lot right in front of the restaurant. We stopped here on the way home to Verona from a day trip.

Excellent value for money. Very kind and knowledgeable staff. Short waiting times. The restaurant is located 10 minutes from Lake Garda (Desenzano). Possibility of eating outside. Very well-kept and clean environment. Highly recommended!!!!

16/06/2025: I was there with a group of friends, there were 13 of us, practically as if Jesus and 12 apostles had been there… The whole group agreed that we ate really well, even though we had different things to choose from What I definitely recommend are the gnocchi, which are exceptional, and the pumpkin tortelli

05/07/2025: Like others, I also looked for a place with typical cuisine. In fact, here they serve fried frogs and snails that I have not found elsewhere and that are perhaps the strong dishes because the ones I tried were not so good (rice, stew, pike). I must say that expectations were high and I did not leave satisfied, indeed I would say a little bitter about the final quality/price ratio.

30/06/2025: I followed the advice of many people who had already visited this tavern! I can only confirm how good the dishes are! The tavern is very close to the center, better to book in advance because it is always full and there is a good reason! Typical Mantua dishes and appetizers not only Mantua but also from other nearby cities with quality cheeses and cured meats! Very kind and above all fast staff :) Prices are normal. Super, super recommended!

The last time I had the crostone with burrata and dried tomatoes as an appetizer (very good) and a sliced ​​steak with caramelized Tropea onion which was equally good. In addition to the excellent menu, I should mention the pleasant service and the truly warm atmosphere. Highly recommended.
