25/05/2024: The environment is nice but not the fried smell that remains on the clothes. A good first course but limited in quantity (and we are not good eaters). Prices in my opinion out of market. Platter of cured meats and a small burrata plus 6 crescentine, 28 euros.... We're not there... I live in Bologna, where prices are certainly not low, but in a restaurant not in the center of Modena, in my opinion it is necessary drop.....

30/05/2024: Returning after years, the environment is nice and clean, with the famous autographed dishes but I wouldn't say it's to be praised. The service is amazing, really pleasant. The food... Without a doubt top quality ingredients and care in preparation, but the taste and satisfaction left after eating is certainly not 5 star, much less 50 euros each. I'm sorry but it's absolutely not worth it.

17/04/2024: This is a top class restaurant. The service is impeccable. Everything is thought out down to the details. The food is perfect, the wine is perfectly matched. At the end, you can taste an excellent grappa. This is not a michelin restaurant, but an experience like a two-star michelin restaurant. In my opinion, the prices are too low for this level.

Il servizio è ottimo, attento ai minimi dettagli, la cucina davvero di alta qualità sia per la ricercatezza dei prodotti che per l'originalità dei piatti. I prezzi sono alti ma in linea per la tipologia di ristorante. L'atmosfera è intima e perfetta per una cena romantica. Lo consiglierei, e sicuramente ci torneremo!

19/05/2024: Absurd situation, never seen such rudeness already mentioned by others. We book for 8.30pm, we arrive at 8.20pm as usual and he blatantly complains that we are late!!! He denies that we had agreed on that time. He says that we eat what he has prepared, claiming that the menu posted outside is 2 years old and no longer valid!!! He insists that we take the starter he has available, he doesn't tell us either first or second courses. We try to be available and conciliatory but he continues to insist on the starter. She says she is alone and cannot please everyone, even though there are only 2 tables occupied. He blatantly begins to verbally attack us, we decide to leave and thank him anyway. At this point he rants in an inappropriate and offensive way, while saying goodbye I observe that never in years and years of working in restaurants and public establishments have I seen such behaviour. Just outside we meet local people who tell us about the lady's well-known behavioral problems, also making observations on the hygiene and cleanliness aspects of the kitchen. We have been frequenting Modena for years, this place (!!!) is a wound of Modena hospitality.

06/05/2024: I had to give one star even though I didn't want to rate anything, as we just entered and left shortly after. Three of us had booked for 8.30pm and already at that moment the lady appeared strange and abrupt, saying that if we arrived later she would give the table away. When we arrived at 8.20pm he welcomed us protesting that we were late and that he was about to give our table away. Despite our observations that we were early, she grumbled a bit, however we sat down asking for the menu... A little laugh and she said that the menu didn't exist and she was thinking of what to give us. I pointed out to her that we had read the dishes on a sheet of paper taped to the door and she started shouting that it had been there for two years... That she had been ill and was now trying to do what she wanted with the things she wanted. I had. He wanted to give us an appetizer with cold cuts and melon, even though we had said no... After further requests from us that we still wanted to understand what we could order, he raised his voice further, reiterating that he had had health problems, we were treated to he shouts in front of those present sitting at the few tables in the restaurant, who did not open their mouths in the face of the unacceptable and inconceivable way in which we were treated. The screaming continued even when we got up and left. Never have an experience like this again.
