This is a top class restaurant. The service is impeccable. Everything is thought out down to the details. The food is perfect, the wine is perfectly matched. At the end, you can taste an excellent grappa. This is not a michelin restaurant, but an experience like a two-star michelin restaurant. In my opinion, the prices are too low for this level.

High level gastronomie; tagliatelle al ragù molto buone con la carne tagliata al coltello invece che trittata lumache gustose, coniglio stufo con pâté di fegato , un buon bianco del Valle d’ Aosta , ottimo servizio conto normale per la qualità.

Refined restaurant in the center of Modena. The very few tables make the environment intimate and peaceful. We tried the traditional tasting menu and all the dishes were exceptional and very carefully presented! Excellent cuisine, with traditional dishes revisited in a modern key. The service was impeccable: thoughtful and prepared. Prices are in line with the quality level of the restaurant. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to spend a pleasant evening. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

I would simply say that the staff is exceptional in everything. The cuisine equally with praise. I highly recommend it for various reasons: spending an evening in a beautiful, clean, sober and at the same time elegant environment. Being pampered with very reserved and pleasant attention. In my case my wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary and it was truly an exceptional evening. Ah, I forgot to say that the new management is really high level.

06/04/2024: The food is really good and generous portions, what we couldn't eat they gave us in a tray; we enjoyed!! Home cooking and friendly, helpful staff...the wait was a little long for the first course but then everything went smoothly; on the other hand it was Easter Monday and the place was full, so it fits! Location a little dated, but clean. We will certainly go back to taste what we just couldn't eat because the menu was varied. Note: the bacon is excellent!!
03/04/2024: Going to eat at La Rana is always something done well, it's that place where you always feel like you're at home and where you find the dishes you always want to have on the table at home! It is essential to find someone who is not on a diet to go with, as it is a perfect place to hang out.

31/03/2024: Characteristic place. We ate cappelletti in broth and gramigna with sausage. For the second course, baked chicken with french fries. Everything was very good and the kindness of the managers contributed to the success of the evening. We will definitely be back.
28/03/2024: Excellent trattoria with excellent first courses. Reservation necessary
